Looks like I get to spend the whole week with Joe Buck.
Doubt tonight makes me as happy as the past two though.

The cradle of the game.
Not seeing a lot of Astros hats in the crowd tonight.

Sox would crush either MIA or HOU. JBJ rolling out and hitting Benny on a deep slant all night long.

They didn't convert but I'm amazed at how out of nowhere it's like coaches have seen the light on the risk/reward of going for it on 4th down. I think it's a critical mass thing. The biggest problem in the past was even for coaches that knew it was the right thing to do, nobody ever got fired for not going for it. All of the sudden it's like enough of them are doing it that they have cover.

I don’t know how much credit Gase gets for taking a risk or bucking conventional wisdom there. It’s not like the ball was in between the 40’s. He went with 4th and inches over attempting like a 45 yard FG with a rookie Kicker.
I was happy he did, the decision was fine, the play call was awful...not just because it didn’t work, but because it’s a naked bootleg at Watt throwing to Gore, none of which seems like a good idea.

Jeez...with all the stops and nonsense thus far, this game has been a form of awful viewing that’s rarely seen.

Amendola’s life was saved by that defender’s foot. That tackle was scary af.

Fumble.

Following along on gamecast I do not understand what is going on. Is Amendola taking snaps?
If you're wondering about the TD pass, it was a trick play, backwards pass to Amendola who then aired it out to a basically uncovered RB out of the backfield.

Thank you. Looks like gamecast also attributed another pass to Amendola but have since corrected it.

That FG decision is really bothering me...I’m trying to find any reasoning behind the move, especially when you consider the time left and inability to stop Houston.

Think it’s about bed time for me. Hopefully I can resume “happy sports week” tomorrow with the Sox...and maybe even appreciate their greatness more after another sobering Dolphins performance.

I have Hopkins starting for my fantasy team, my opponent this week has Watson on his bench - contrasting emotions :)

Hell of an effort by the Doofins, so much for that tremendous 3-0 start.

What a clownshow franchise, haven't won a playoff game in 18 years, been to an AFCCG in 26 years or a Super Bowl in 33 years.
