Wow, the refs steal a first down from the Rams, and now Seattle will have a minute and a half to get into field goal range for the win, and I can't believe it hasn't been mentioned once.

Haha if the playoffs started today here would be the AFC seedings:

1. KC 5-0
2. Cin 4-1
3. NE 3-2
4. Ten 3-2
5. LAC 3-2
6. Mia 3-2
7. Bal 3-2
8. Jax 3-2

I just think it's funny that in the blink of an eye, Jacksonville went from toppling the Patriots to being out of the playoff standings right now. (Yes I know this means nothing; indulge me)

BWanksCB@BWCrossingBroad : Many Eagles, including Lane Johnson, acted like they were the only team in the history of the NFL to win the Super Bowl. The head coach wrote a book, the RT had a lot of hot take quotes—just spitballing here, but it looks like maybe they were a bit too satisfied with themselves.

4th and goal from the one inch line, and you run a play out of the shotgun. I'll never, ever, ever understand that. Get under fucking center, and if the sneak isn't there, either hand it off with a lead fullback, or do play action, but never go out of the shotgun from there. You eliminate 100 different ways of scoring.

CC and Al super excited about possible Texans TD. Yet replay shows easily that Hopkins’ elbow is down about 1/2 yard short quite clearly

No kidding. Or just take the 3 points against a shit offense when you have the ball coming your way in the 2nd half.

Rogers and Newton run to extend plays or wisely run out of bounds. Watson is just reckless and stupid. They’re checking him out on the sidelines with a freakin stethoscope.

It’s reminding me of RGIII. He’s going to get himself killed out there. Has taken some absolutely vicious hits tonight.

That might be a bit strong, but I think his skill-set is more of a backup QB. He caught lightning in a bottle his rookie year, but since then, he's been...meh.

Did you see that duck he threw on the interception? The throw was late and floated on him. That pass was not an outlier. He's often late on his throws and they're rarely on target. The reason his completion percentage is where it is is purely a function of short throws and check downs. He's just not an NFL QB. I wouldn't even want him as a backup if I could help it.

Also, Vander Esch is getting exposed in pass coverage. Ryan Griffin is eating his lunch.

He might have the worst group of receivers in the NFL now that the Pats have Edelman and Gordon. I think folks are being a bit unfair to him. He's lost Witten, he's lost Dez, he's lost TWill, the offensive line isn't opening the holes they were two years ago, so the run game isn't ask scary for opposing defenses.

If he gets some weapons, I think he'll be a fine NFL QB. I don't think there is more than a handful of guys in the league that could make chicken salad out of the chicken she has. The reason he has to check down and throw short so often is because there is nobody ever open downfield.

Theme of The Good, Bad and Ugly for next week’s Sunday night game, Chiefs/Pats. Appropriate in ways they do not understand.

Breathe on every other quarterback the flag comes out but JJ Watt leads with his helmet two seconds after the ball's gone and it's fine.

Austin has to come up and catch that punt, not wait for a high bounce to come to him. That had long return written all over it, short and low.

That's fair but he had those receivers you mentioned last year and he was still only marginally better than this year. Even in his good season he was incapable of stretching the field and it took an otherworldly season from the line and Elliott to propel the offense. It's not a mystery why they're constantly facing 8 and 9 man fronts.

Now, to your point about poor roster construction, I've spilled a ton of ink griping about that. So you're preaching to the choir on that.

Clowney might be the worst tackler, for such a great pass rusher, in the NFL. That's twice now that he's had two arms literally wrapped around Dak and barely moved him, and Dak just scooted away. Dak is strong, but he ain't that strong. It's why Clowney always end up with such pedestrian sack totals.

That play was basically Dak in a nutshell
It's also the receiving corps in a nutshell. If Watson makes that same play and throw, Hopkins catches it, and everyone is talking about how great Watson is. Dak's receivers can't make the play, so he's a bad QB.
