QB has 77 yards passing in almost three quarters. Given how pitiful they look, it's becoming the need in the offseason no matter what the Joneses think.
Hey, maybe if Jerrah didn’t basically get rid of the best receiver and the only deep threat (Austin hasn’t done anything yet), they might not be in this predicament. Also, when you lose an all-pro lineman like Frederick, that’s hard to deal with too.

Most of David Johnson’s touches this year have been early down runs up the gut. How some coaches in this league are even able to unzip their fly to urinate is a mystery.

Mike McCoy is the single worst offensive coordinator in the league. It is amazing. He has maybe the best pass catching RB in NFL history, a guy who obliterated the league's defenses 2 years ago on downfield throws. He has run 1 downfield route this year (he scored a TD), and has 3 targets this game. He's been used exclusively to run up the middle and to block, because why run routes with David Johnson when he could free up time to throw to scrubs like Christian Kirk.

I think Dez not having a job in week three tells you all you need to know where his skillset has gone.

Yeah, it was Greg Papa. They interviewed Joe Staley, sharp guy but he said they’ll be OK with Greg Beathard, with whom they were 1-12 last year until Jimmy stepped in. I don’t know.
Beathard was also a rookie last year. He honestly looked better (I know he isn’t better) than Jimmy at points in the preseason.
Heck that TD he threw today (called back by a piss poor OPI call) was the best pass by any 49er WB today.
I am hoping for 6 wins.

I hope the 49ers are competitive. I like having a strong second team.

Troy Aikman on a sketchy roughing call on a hit on Dak — after Pereira says NFL has to wind this in a little bit:

“I am not even commenting on it. It’s just ridiculous.”

Rosen likes Kirk too!

Huge play in AZ coming up. 2 minute warning. 3rd down and medium. A first and they're close to FG range.

Rosen to get ball back after AZ uses all 3 timeouts. ball on 20. About 45 yards to go to get FGA. 43 seconds left

Rosen can't read a defense. Cards are going to be in the basement for awhile.
Not jumping to any conclusions on Rosen. I’m not sure it’s possible to look worse than Jared Goff did in limited action in 2 years ago; inversely, Andy Dalton was fantastic as a rookie but has only improved modestly since.

Chris Conte just got embarrassed on national television like few have ever been embarrassed on national television.

And we get a "threw him outta the club" comment. Awesome.
