Hardy looked like shit. There were like 4 times a decent striker would’ve killed him with a left hook.

Kayla Harrison won her first fight last night, armbar at 3:18 in the first. The fight was in PFL at 155. She says she walks around at 160 but wants to fight at 145 eventually.

Just caught up on PFL 2. After two events I still have low expectations for the PFL ruleset and overall success, but I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would.

Anyone know when the 225 fights will be on fight pass? I've been missing a lot of the fights lately and did a fight pass free trial to try to catch them. Problem is all the fights on there, I've seen. Not many recent fights.

Max Holloway is out of the co-main on Saturday. Fight is cancelled. He apparently got rocked in training last week and still had concussion symptoms this week.
The interview with Bisping is tough to watch; though he smokes a lot of weed apparently so maybe it was that too.

Tempted to take the -220 on Stipe, as I just keep envisioning a scenario where this plays out a lot like the last Jones fight.

Speaking of guys making weight, this dude Costa looks like he is on all the Brazilian vitamins (bombados) and it’s unbelievable that he makes the weight.

For those that don’t know, the old guy on the side of Costa is Wallid Ismail. Famous for choking Royce to sleep in a BJJ match around 1999.

He is a famous figure in BJJ for repping the Carlson Gracie BJJ academy and going to war against the rest of the Gracie family.

Am I crazy putting money on Cormier? Stipe has never looked super impressive to me.

I always have a tough time picking against Cormier. I think he can take Stipe down.

Stipe is tough, though. Tough fight to pick.
I put a little on DC at +215. I'm prepared to lose that, but those are crazy good odds for a fight that could go either way.

Also betting the fight starts round 2 and round 3.

Edit: +215, not 315

Cormier's on his way out. If we're talking about things in my typical, increase future gates, Montreal screwjob heart of hearts, no way the UFC lets Stipe lose a fight he's this favored in to an older, shorter man who's basically an accidental champ on his way out. This is the sort of hand where I used to not have to look at my cards.

I wouldn't put money on Stipe. But every possible inference will be drawn in his favor.

Wow, what a let down this is.

Some guys just lose it once that feeling of invincibility gets stripped away I guess. Or the paychecks start getting a lot bigger.

More interested in what Dana is going to have to say about this at this point then the actual fight.

If Lewis has back spasms, I can understand it from his perspective. Those can be debilitating...and that would make it an even worse loss for N'Gannou.

Yup. And FN probably needed to take some shots to get him into it. That happens. But no excuses for sitting there for 15 minutes. Even when he did try to counter he was pulling off his punche before they even would’ve landed. Stipe didn’t even beat him up that bad did he?

Dude weighs 264 and three a switch kick in the first 10 seconds. That’s a strange thing to do with back spasms

My assumption was that the spasm occurred due to something he did in the ring, since he had to tell his corner. But either way, fighters do some amazing things on adrenaline...just look at Felder tonight.
