It must be a big game in Chestnut Hill tonight; there are only 15,000 empty seats at kickoff.

Why pray tell are the 2 biggest games - NCSU-ND and OSU-PSU - at 3:30 and neither are prime time? World Series?

I was about to ask the last time college football had a 3:30 like this.

Georgia/Florida ---- Georgia is undefeated and this is a huge rivalry. Except, George can not seem to win at Florida and the last three times they've been there Florida has ruined Georgia's season, including last year.

NCSU-ND - The winner stays in the playoff race. For folks who have not seen Bradley Chubb play for NC State, this is going to be a total treat. ND is coming off their best game of the season. Both of these teams are a bit under the radar which is expected for the former and surprising for the latter. May actually be the best game of the three.

OSU-PSU - top five match-up, revenge game, winner is probably in the playoff. Loser probably out.

There's even another top 25 matchup during this slot. It's just so crazy. The evening games suck. Throw any one of these games in the evening slot and you get all of the eyeballs.

NCSU @ ND: Notre Dame sets its start times before the season and doesn't allow TV to change them

PSU @ OSU: Fox has first selection this week in the Big Ten and is showing the World Series tonight

Florida vs. Georgia: CBS has first selection and can only show games at 3:30 (with two exceptions, I think it has to be determined before the season)

TCU @ ISU: No idea why this wasn't selected for 8:00

There are a surprising number of good games on right now: a ranked game at WVU, Miami and Wisconsin on upset alert, the wheels falling off Michigan, even Leipzig at Bayern if you're into that.

NC is 1-7, so sure, but their defense is doing everything they can and the offense just handing the ball away.

Saw this on ESPN's reporter feed, at halftime

David M Hale, ESPN Staff writer
Blame it on a lookahead game, but Miami's scoring woes have been a season-long affair outside the fourth quarter.
Season totals: 1Q - 33 points, 2Q - 51 points, 3Q - 48 points, 4Q - 75 points

Those OSU uniforms are really bad but that 3rd down call was nifty. They are trying to run a hurry up offense but too many false starts.

Buckeyes gaining 7 yards per run and 3 per pass attempt but they keep throwing the ball. Meanwhile, Nits are doing nothing on offense. 33 yards total in first quarter.

PSU has to consider the fake return at some point, given how much OSU loads their ST coverage unit to one side, right?

...that is a weak call. What more do you want for your defender to (not) do there?

Plenty of time for tOSU to come back.

Nits usually have an experience advantage at QB but Barrett has been around since 2014.

Yep. They just need to fix their special teams and get it 28-17 before the half

OSU is becoming a bit predictable with their running schemes. As someone who knows SEC considerably more by playbooks/style, do they ever run bootleg? Seems it'd help them considerably.

Well, they only have to kick off one more time before halftime, assuming they score on this drive.
But now the Buckeye D needs to make a stop. 5 minutes is plenty of time for the Nit offense, though I think OSU's defense has been solid in stopping X/Z/slot plays. Then again, I get the feeling Moorhead has been saving some clever additional Saquon plays for the second half.
