Clemson @ Louisville has been moved to 8PM (ABC), since they have to televise a new game with FSU Miami postponed.

Notre Dame @ BC has been moved to 3:30 to take over the prior spot.

Glad the Clemson game has been moved, selfishly. This week's slate is interesting but lacked a marquee game in my opinion. I was not really looking forward to watching USC kill Texas so glad to have a better primetime option.

that's gotta be the biggest pair of plays in modern CFB history
What's the other one?

That game though might be the game in the history of sports that most lived up to the hype. Hindsight is 20-20 especially since Texas hadn't stopped LenDale White all game, but it would've been interesting to see Young have to go the length of the field on the final drive instead of half of it.

Well it's the best college football game ever played soooooo
What's the over/under on how many times the commentators mention that game during the broadcast; better yet, let's play a drinking game around it.

If MD could hang 50 plus on the horns in Austin, what is USC going to do to them at home?

The horns will not only be able to remember the Alamo this weekend but actually get a feel for what it was like to be there during the battle.

Naturally they'll come out on fire Saturday night, the commentators will mention that they haven't seen anyone from Austin move that fast since Charles Whitman opened up on them from the tower......................

FWIW, my 2¢ on Clemson/Louisville this week.

The game scares me. Clemson has a solid D, but a new QB and I don't know what happens if they get into a shootout style game against Lamar. They may not have the offensive maturity to answer if Lamar puts up points and takes a lead. Last year UL was aided by 4-5 Clemson turnovers that let them get back in the game in the third Q, so Clemson actually did a good job of limiting him before the half, but they need to be clean or else it may be too much for the offense to deal with. If this game were being played week 8, I think Clemson would have an easy time, but week 3 and a young offense makes it difficult to predict.

I also think the defensive numbers versus Auburn are misleading. They limited Auburn to like 120 total yards, but sacks count as negative yardage in college, when you have 11 sacks + 3 TFL, it skews the picture a bit. I think Lamar is going to get his share, the question is if Clemson can put up 40 or so on offense.

Dabo has been beating the drum all summer that while the offense is going to take a step back, he thinks the defense is better than last year, especially the defensive line. I'm thinking he's trying to coach toward lower scoring games this season. It will be interesting to see if they can keep the score down against Louisville.

A few thoughts:

1) Mike Riley isn't long for Lincoln methinks.
2) A&M is worse than I imagined, they won't win a conf game
3) UCLA might be the dirtiest team I've seen in a few years.

Baylor has really bottomed out fast. They may not win a football game this year

right here
Hokies struggled early like they always seem to do against ECU but have put up 50 straight on he strength of 444 yards of offense in 2nd and 3rd quarters.

It's easy in hindsight, but once you see you're beat, tackle the guy.

Josh Rosen was bad in that game last week when they came back and he was bad again today. He looks so gunshy in the p[ocket and his decision-making is bad. I'm guessing he's gonna be a Jet...

Texas has no offense with Sam but the defense has a solid 1Q to build on. Baby steps this year, keep on building,

They're gonna get blown out but stuff to build on,

That was at least holding. He had a fist full of jersey.

The offensive play calling is super disappointing so far. Throwing the ball out of the end zone with a freshman QB making his first road start? For fuck's sake.

Yeah. I thought he was supposed to be a "dual threat" QB? He looks like he's running in mud when he does run. And I'm not terribly impressed by his arm so far either.

This color guy on the USC game is the most unprofessional announcer I've heard on national TV since Tommy Heinsohn in like 1986.

He either went to Texas or has a thousand dollars on them.

You must be new to college football. Joel Klatt went to Colorado and was on the 2005 team that got SLAUGHTERED by Texas in the Big 12 Championship. If anyone has reason to hate Texas, it's Klatt.

Edit: He's also been very vocal in saying that Texas destroyed the conference.
