Still pissed that ESPN fucked up the Crowther story. Sitting here with my 9 year old watching the game, and he was so interested in hearing the story, after really just learning about 9/11, and ESPN cuts away. Now, he has to go to bed. I'm going to have to download the documentary for him tomorrow.

Damn Blackmon needs to bulk up, he got lit up multiple times on that drive.
I think they just said he's 169 pounds. I'm taking the under, but he is pretty tall too. Can't survive at this level very long at that size. Not with the offensive line letting guys come free from the backside on every 10th play or so.

Pasqualoni is a damn good football coach. Done a great job coaching up the DL

Second horrible play by FSU punt returner leads to a fumble. A few running plays, and Dillon pounds it in. 28-3 BC. This one is over, IMO. Dillon just got like 18 yards on 3-4 running plays, in which there weren't really any holes. He just put his head down and plowed ahead and kept his legs going on each run. Every "short yardage back" in the NFL should watch what he just did and take notes. Man, looking forward to seeing what he does when they open some big holes for him. Up around 125 yards to this point.

This is fun - it’s like having Mike Cloud again. So thankful it looks like BC is watchable again

Great night.

And we were terrible when Mike Cloud was on the team. I was there. Loved Cloud, but they were brutal. Had an OC named Jags for his senior year....

25-2 when leading at the half now. The offense obviously has finally found itself. They now have a firing offense, really good special teams (although FG is still a little sketchy) and the D is playing much better.

They can beat everyone else on their schedule and end up 8-4. Assuming they do, I see them in the Pinstripe Bowl against, maybe, Michigan. Would be intersting to see how they would stack up against Don Brown. At least everyone knows what to expect. Who would have thunk 3 weeks ago we would bring this position? Clearly Dazzler is back next year. The key is do they extend him. They will have to do something no later than the end of next season.

Did Jimbo get fired yet? Florida, Clemson, Syracuse (and Delaware State) left, 5 losses, no bowl for sure. After the first fumble, never in the game.

The guy who got the too-many-men-on-the-field penalty that could have made it off had he run may have been the final nail.

Mike Cloud up the middle 4 times from the 1 yard line against ND my senior year. At least he gave us a great season to distract from the mess that was the rest of the team.

Brown did fine as a game manager and not making any major mistakes but he was still just 6/20 for 54 yards. Not ready to anoint him just yet.

He’s the best we have and made some throws that should have been catches, like the dropped TD by Sweeney. I think Daz in his infinite wisdom has finally figured out that AJ Dillon is the best player on the team. That poor kid is going to get run into the ground over the next few years. Brown and guys like Kobay White are still scratching the surface but have shown me enough to get excited for the future. Will be a very interesting finish to the season.

i'm not ready to go all Arthur Fonzerili on you yet, you know say the 'w' word, but I'm going to try to be realistic for once
L'ville is in the middle of a shit storm on campus thanks to Lil Ricky and took us lightly, plus Dillon was a monster
UVa also took us lightly, we kicked the snot out of them al day (I'd watched them do the same to UNC the week before, do the Heels suck)
FSU this is a down year for them, really down, and Jimbo being Jimbo laid an egg, and we scrambled them

coming attaractions:
I watched a lot of RCC ND sat and State looks a lot like us, can run the ball, give up a shitload on the ground... thats going to be a hell of a game
Yukon, please they were getting stomped on by Mizou
'Cuse in the dome??? we've already won two on the road will this be the annual Diamon Ferri Memorial WTF game? god I hope not

at best we run the table and end up 8-4.. worst 6-6 and maybe back in NYC for Pinstripe bowl

The Pinstripe Bowl is one of the ACC's Tier 1 Bowls now. You don't play in that at 6-6. The bottom tier bowls are the Quick Lane (Detroit), Independence (Shreveport, Christmas Day), Military (Annapolis), and St. Petersburg Bowls.

The leak from campus is that Daz gave up the playcalling after VT.

If so he is the worst playcaller on earth.

They go 8-4 and they will be in the Pinstripe. Would love to see them play the maze and blue. We all know what Donny Brown's defense is all about. I think this team ( as it is currently playing mind you) could give this edition of Michigan a run for its money. Would be interesting as hell either way.

The Pinstripe is however not one of the Big Ten's upper tier bowls. Michigan is 6-2 and would need to lose their last four, including Minnesota and Maryland for it even to be in the realm of possibility. The Pinstripe will be Iowa/Nebraska/Minnesota.

I'm not sure I've seen a mobile QB with less pocket mobility than Wade. Is he playing with an injury? Guy stands there like a statue until someone hits him or he throws it. Never moves off his spot when it's a straight drop back, which gives the defense a very, very easy target.

BC has a virtual statue playing QB?

I thought they had a hot shot freshman? 4 awful-looking incomplete passes = my BC football watching experience for the year.

I didn't watch the whole game. Did Brown get hurt, or did Daz yank him after 5 passes? Because no matter how bad he started, I think he's way better than Wade.

Yes. He likely tore his ACL in 2nd quarter. Probably the difference in the game along with some awful play calling. Hope the kid recovers nicely for next season.
