That is awesome, gotta be one of the highlights of that guy's life.

Anyway, back to the action. I just listened to the ShackHouse Ryder Cup preview and I've never been more confident about the US' chances. Shack and House both couldn't envision any way the US could win and they were both chomping at the bit to bet Europe.

I'm convinced, the US is going to win. Their team is stacked like it's never been stacked before. They are home. And they are being written off by the geniuses. Raise the Cup fellas.
My prediction on Thursday. Nailed it!

Wonder if T4P knows a halve here for DJ wins it
Oh trust me, we all knew. We wanted that to drop so bad. Still, an amazing weekend. Moore's eagle and Reed's bunker shot were both unbelievable.

Thomas Pieters with 4 points, the highest point total for anyone. I wonder what the odds were for him to be the high scorer? Reed 2nd with 3.5 and then Rory 3rd with 3.

As someone who just lost his dad less than 2 weeks ago, Bubba's comments really resonated as genuine and impressive.

I rip on the guy but man.

I thought the Rory/Crowd interaction was fine. People who crossed the line got tossed. but they played into his crazy, and he played right back. It was awesome.

One thing I think didn't get on TV was when Phil hit his putt on 17 Moore was in the 16th fairway about to hit his 2nd. They were showing Phil on the video board at 16 and we all erupted right before Moore was about to swing. Moore was able to back off and then step up and stick it to about 8 feet. So impressive.

This is a pretty good press conference from the Euro's. The press is harping on the crowd thing, the Euro's aren't really taking the bait and having some fun with it.

Rose now ruining it by complaining about the set up today.

I really don't think the fans were that bad outside of the chuckleheads that got tossed on Friday (?). A good example was once on 16 someone was ready to hit (Sullivan I think) and Pieters had sank a big a big putt that people were listening to on the BBC channel on he Ryder Cup radio. So a couple Euro fans yelped (likely not realizing Sullivan was hitting) and the announcers immediately blamed the US crowd for it. The noises/celebrations during pre-shot routines were inevitable with the video board and the Ryder cup radios with putts being hit left and right.

I do not enjoy watching golf on TV... except for the RC. (I don't even enjoy watching the Masters; I'd just rather be playing.) But this was can't miss TV. Loved it. I also love how it inverts your natural rooting tendencies ("fuck Rory! I'm all in on Reed for the next 72!").

I'm also bummed that Peter Willett hasn't tweeted yet (or if he has that I missed it) because I gave mad props to his pre RC troll job - it was amazing - and wanted to hear his comeuppance.

The media is making a big deal out of it. The first 3 or 4 questions to the Europe press conference were crowd related. Euro's handled it fine, and didn't really make it an excuse.
