I mean, I had a $10 parlay just for the hell of it, but that was just checking the box on the way to my teaser.
Gotcha. Minny would scare me. Giving 3 points on the road against what will surely be a fired up Eagles squad against their former teammate. I don't trust Bradford in a setting like this but maybe he'll keep proving me wrong.
I'm a big believer in their defense and Carson and their WR corps looked very shut downable with some pressure and good coverage.
I don't like today. Any action tonight to salvage the day? Thinking a teaser is the only smart play with the lines.
So I would have needed a 7.5 (atl) tease for this to hit? Is that how it works?

Yeah. Sitting there at halftime like maybe there'll be 3 TDs in the 3rd Quarter and this will have a shot. Ouch.

Assuming I don't think I'm markedly smarter than the collective wisdom of the gambling community, I'm choosing between the Cowboys and the Jets. Any reason not to take the Jets and preserve whatever future value the Cowboys have?

"Risky but not stupid" -- is it less risky than trusting the Jets to win in Cleveland? Neither team has future value, so there's no point in taking added risk.
Im not sure Vegas is a good proxy for Jets-Cleveland, that's been off the board with a lot of places with the QB stuff. Some of the gambling guys I follow have the Jets favored in their power rankings by more than I would have guessed though, closer to 5 or 6.
I'd rather go with Tenn. Jets seems slightly smarter, but it's just a gut feeling. Though I've been cold as hell for two weeks.
I bet the NFL network is going to pull in millions of new subscribers to see the Jaguars play the Titans tonight. I know it's only October but this game will likely have some serious draft seeding implications.
I have Minny and Denver still available... but that's it. I'm leaning Minny, although the Jets are a tempting high beta move.
Min and Den have fairly similar winning chances, but Min has some future value, while Den's is sketchy. Den should be a bit less popular. And though I know the location is already reflected in the lines, I tend to favor home games.

I don't like a ton of stuff this week and I am still researching but I really like Over 48 in SEA-NO. Will probably throw it into a few teasers as well and bang it down to 42.

I made a combination bet of these 6 events. 5 of them need to be correct. With all 6 being correct, I win big. If 5 are correct, I also make money. If only 4 (or less) are right, I lose my (small) money.

Shocked by the way the Minn line is moving, but I never play games with a QB change, throws off the numbers too much for good mojo.
Agree with scnerres on the Saints over 48, I was able to pick it up at 47.5. Also Carolina at -2.5 which isn't out there now, btu don't mind pushing on the 3 if I was looking at it now.
Card for next week looks much better, so laying off this week largely. Can't wait to hit the Bucs next Thursday night,

Love the Bears and the points this week and think they win outright maybe 40-45 percent of the time.
Indy/Pats/Browns teaser combos and will end up heavy on the Pats laying points, lighter on NO and Indy
Like NO but might have already missed the good number. Same with Atlanta but not sure I'll lay the full 3
Cin -3 seems strong and like Dallas and the under in the night game.
