Flipping through the games this afternoon. A great name in the GS vs GT game. It is a moral imperative that he gets at least a camp invite by the Rams when he graduates Georgia Southern.

ACC is starting to really sweat out this NC St vs Clemson game. While I think the ACC has 2 of the top 5 teams in college football this season, if you end up with a one loss champion they can pretty easily keep you out if they dec ide to.

10-10 getting towards late 3rd quarter.

And the officials have been brutal against NC St. Right now 11-0 in terms of penalties called. Now admittedly many have been pre snap calls against NC St because they can't hear the offensive snap count. But some there have been multiple facemasks. missed against Clemson, including one most recently in the red zone on a 3rd down play where it was a blatant grab and twist of the helmet facemask on a Clemson tackle that forced 4th down preceding a blocked FG attempt

Clemson in real trouble as NC St is entering the Red Zone with 2 minutes to play in a 17-17 game

NC State had a golden opportunity to run the ball 2 or 3 times and make it a chipshot. Taking a 4 yard loss and then not running another play was brutal coaching.

This won't be much of a loss for Clemson if they lose in OT and run the table after. They will still be ahead of any Big 12 team since they can use the Les Miles argument of 2007.

A bit of craziness at the end of the ND Stanford game, announcers saying they don't think the officials should have blown the play dead, on a fumble play at the end of the game, but personally I think the OL on the ground clearly recovered the ball and threw it backwards to another ND player. Not sure that was when they blew the whistle
