Wow. Clemson stops Louisville a yard short of a first down at the two on 4th down. Will win 42-36.
Man, Lamar Jackson was 6-6 on the last drive I think. Clemson offense was sloppy in the second half. Probably didn't deserve the victory, but I'm glad they won.
Not lack of effort, but he made a split-second decision to try to beat that defender instead of lowering his shoulder and trucking into him to get an extra yard or so. Given where the sticks were, and that the sideline was functioning as an extra defender, that was the wrong decision.
I agree. Live it looked like the guy could have done more, but on replay it looked like what you described.
