Big Ten officials just missed the most obvious pass interference call you'll see all day.

Edit, behind the line of scrimmage, so just holding actually.

My ignorance only strengthens the joke. I had no idea, obviously, that Michigan was ranked at 4. Whatever you want to say about that program, the marketing is top notch. Big win today at home against Colorado. Wouldn't surprise me to see Big Blue jump to #3.
This was truly beautiful. Kudos Derek.

This may be a controversial idea, but if I was U$C, I'd think about maybe covering the guy who had 3,800 all purpose yards last year.

At some point having a freshman QB has to hurt Alabama.......doesn't it???
In each of Bama's first three games, the play in the trenches on both sides of the ball has resembled the rugby scene from Monty Python's The Meaning of Life. If they play a team who can hold their own on the line, then yes, the Tide's weakness at the skill positions can be exploited. Until then, however, it's going to be ugly -- remember, the officials basically gave Ole Miss 7 points in the first half by ignoring that cheap shot on Hurts, and without that TD, this game is a laugher in the second half.

OU got away with one of the bonehead drop-the-ball-before-it-crosses-the-goal line moves. I can't fucking understand why these idiots keep doing that. It's seemingly becoming more frequent, and reminds me of the suicide discussion in The Tipping Point.

Gooners look pretty mediocre.

Edit - which isn't to say the Brutus doesn't look pretty good, because they do.
OU looks plenty talented on the offensive side, but prone to stupid mistakes and "choking." Dropped passes, taking stupid sacks outside the pocket, missed easy field goals, etc. They've left 7-10 points out there.

ND is being absolutely blown out. I didn't expect Michigan State to be very good, let's hope I'm wrong and it isn't just ND being really bad,

OU trying to make an ND style comeback, but unfortunately they are being really slow about it. ND was driving down the field in like 1:20, OU runs like 2 run plays in that amount of time.

Hate to say it but OSU is the clear early #1 team in the country
Alabama had a 45-6 stretch in 27 minutes today, also on the road, and Louisville has made a nice case for themselves so far also. OSU has been super impressive tonight though, obv.
