I'm not there, just watching on TV and the crowd looks spectacular.  Glad you guys are able to be there in person and can confirm ha.

That's a big win right there. Unlikely to win the ACC but need to slot into the 2-3 seeds so they can be on the opposite side as Virginia in the ACC tourney.

That's one of the most boring UNC teams in a long time. Impressed with Hicks though (other than the FT). Is Meeks in the doghouse?  12 minutes?

Love how Paige was composed while held scoreless and then just turned it on when it was needed.

Roy said (or intimated) that Meeks was playing less because BC doesn't have a true "big," and he struggles to guard out on the perimeter where Clifford was going a lot today.  But he also didn't say he was going to start against Pitt next Saturday, and Hicks did what you want to see a kid do when he gets a start.  Too bad he missed his last few FTs but he did start seven-for-seven.  It was a good game, though, to the BC guys.  Hanlan is an excellent player.

Also to the Duke fellas here, that was the most impressive win any team has so far this year.  ND is a really, really good team and that was a total decimation.

Duke/UNC in 10 days is shaping up to be a big game in determining the stretch run. The path still goes through UVA, and rightly so, as their defense shows up every night and is absolutely awesome to watch. Simply phenomenal effort and execution there. Louisville continues to have offensive issues, so I expect them to slide, but ND has a pretty easy schedule the rest of the way. Winner of Duke/UNC has the inside track to the 2-seed for the tourney now.

Would have been disappointed if you had anything respectful to say. Thanks for not disappointing. You are a true ambassador for your school.

Smith's legacy sure got complicated toward the end of his life. While he did a lot of good, it appears he also did a lot of bad - like a lot of folks. Hopefully, this week, he'll be remembered as a human, not as a saint.

I disagree with you.

My friend Ben made this for my son's 1st birthday and it hangs in my office now, a few years later. Both of our Dads gave us Carolina basketball and, by extension, Dean Smith. We each had/have complicated relationships with those men, his now gone a little over ten years. There are some elements hinting at that bond in the painting, so for it to be on the occasion of my own son's first birthday - it was beautiful.

Duke at FSU tonight. FSU has the following players:

Kiel Turpin is 7-0, 240, Boris Bojanovsky 7-3 and 240, while Michael Ojo is 7-1 and 290.

I mean, what is that. Play all 3 and just throw over the top all game. Sure you'll give up fast breaks on misses, but ideally you won't be missing much with those guys just laying it in.

I mean, they're on a college basketball team, i assume they can smash the ball off that box painted on the backboard.

North Carolina was a pretty good defensive team at one time this year but it's gone way off the rails.  And they haven't even played the Blue Devils yet.

Due to ESPN’s decision to pull him from his broadcasting duties, it will be the 75-year-old’s first time not calling the game since 1979.

The refs put the whistles away in OT. Don't forget about the rebound Okafor grabbed where the ball somehow just shot straight out of bounds as he went up with it. Overall, an awesome game. This will be another battle down at the Dean Dome in a few weeks.

North Carolina blew the game all by themselves (it's what they do - Iowa State, Louisville, tonight), but come on.

Duke was like 15-30 on free throws. There was no game to blow if Duke hit a competent percentage of free throws.

Fine, it doesn't change that's a foul and maybe we could have kept playing an excellent, excellent ballgame.  That's what college b-ball is supposed to be, not this 51-48 horseshit.

I also don't think it's a foul. Loose ball, Winslow gets to it first and tips it straight up in the air (watch his hand), and Paige just runs straight into the forearm. He weighs like 95 lbs so he goes flying, but that was Winslow to the ball first.

Best player we have.

Not most potential, but best player today.
