I never thought I'd be sitting here saying how much I missed Nacho freakin' Monreal. 1-0 Arsenal off his corner header. ALIVE!

I’m glad that 45 minutes of hot garbage is over with. That was as bad or worse than anything I saw under the de Boer era. If Arsenal ever need to get their heads straight, a game against Palace is just what the doctor ordered. First game I ever went to was those two teams, and Palace lost that too.

Hopefully they can just forget this one and move on. It’s probably my fault for making such an optimistic post in the Palace thread after last week’s game.

Don't worry - with NACHO MONREAL now out, I'm expecting a 4-2 finish at best.

No comment yet on Everton's James McCarthy's broken leg?

Be warned--the photos are rather sickening to look at.

I felt bad because my immediate reaction to hearing he was hurt was "what a shame the dirtiest player in the league got hurt" then felt bad because even dirt-bags don't really deserve horrible injuries, no matter how many times they tried to give them to others.

Will Joe Gomez ever stop lunging into passing lanes and missing the ball?

edit: now he feeds a ball to Martin Olsson's feet
