The Sacramento Kings deserve our playoff spot
He may be a good coach but he ain't a good coach for this team. He's got nothing to lose by making some adjustments, but just sits there with his mouth agape 48 mins a night.
It could be worse, we could be the Lakers.
The team has been disappointing this year but I like to think they will have more fight in April and May. They will still make the playoffs and have a favorable first round matchup. The season isn’t over at all, even if this team looks cooked tonight.
That Siakam fast break dunk, where Hayward literally just stopped trying, broke them.
Embarrassing at this point
I had planned to watch this entire game and have nothing else I can do tonight. So now I’m going to watch this game but be drunk while I do it. This team is having an actual detrimental effect on my health
But there won't be anything substantive, just like all season long. Brad will be like "I have to do better" and the players will mutter some stuff about playing as a team and all that. Then everything will be the same and the slide will continue.
WHY, THE. FUCK. IS. MARCUS, MORRIS. FUCKING. PLAYING
They haven't missed an open shot all game. Meanwhile Celtics haven't hit one
This team is done for the season in terms of being a serious contender. Lots of soul searching from both coaching staff, players, and front office needs to be done.
They're going to be on the road in the 1st round. That's not favorable.
Gotta get his stats so he can get a big contract from some other team silly.
No one called out that screen and Rozier almost got destroyed after his nice drive and dunk.
Nah this team is more cooked than a Griswold Christmas Turkey.
The offense has looked pretty consistently misguided to me all season. Either everyone freelances or the system sucks, and the coach has done nothing about either.
Is Theis hurt?
The team doesn’t understand the concept of screens.
He’s averaging 14.4 and 6.1, both career highs. Any team that gives him a big contract is gonna have to confuse how good he actually is with how good he seems to think he is
Scal with the rare NBC Sports call out of the effort.
Thinking they will flip the switch come April at this point is naive, KG/PP Celtics these guys are not. & they will be on the road against a much improved Sixers team. They are beyond awful on the road. Incredibly real chance they are out in round 1.
The Celtics are not close to as good as we thought before the season but they aren't this bad.
We’re winning if you take away the two big raptor runs. Unfortunately those are runs of 18-0 and 17-2 and lasted about a quarter combined
Lowe isn’t the only one to say Celts coulda had Kawhi.
TNT has mailed it on this game too.
I mean: 4/21 from 3?
Let TimeLord get 30 minutes a night from here on out and see what happens.
This is a chemistry issue. Fortunately, next season the issues should be fixed one way or the other, but God bless whoever gets Kyrie if he leaves and Mookie when he does.
Semi should play more.
Just tuned in. Are Danny and Brad tanking for Zion? Genius.
After that Ojeleye 3, you can see Yabu standing up and cheering the team on...notably not standing and barely doing a golf clap next to Yabu?
Agreed. It might be time to start building something for next year. This team is going nowhere in the playoffs.
The Knicks paying 40 mil per year in 2023 to an injured, crazy Kyrie is very Knicks.
You aren’t enjoying listening to Grant Hill wax poetic about how Isaiah Thomas was actually a great GM and invented small ball?
Announcers have not referred to a single thing happening on the court in 5 minutes or more.
Or I’m just optimistic that it’s possible things could turn around. I’d rather feel like that than be burying them in February.
I am now looking forward to this.
That article says nothing about whether or not the Spurs would have wanted Brown. In fact, it (and most other articles on the subject) was written from the assumption that they would be rebuilding with any Kawhi trade and that ended up not being the goal of their package at all.
Oh I appreciate the optimism for sure, I just have none left. This team is incredibly mediocre & expecting them to beat a terrific bucks team with the mvp, a truly deep raptors team with the best two way player in the league & a sixers team with 4 all stars where the celts won’t have Home Court in a single series & wont have the best player in any of those series its hard to be optimistic.
I'd rather see Brad Wannamaker.
We know what Rozier gives us
We don’t know that cause all signs point to Danny not offering Jaylen for Kawhi. I have a feeling pop takes him plus other things over Derozan but maybe not. Ainge shoulda offered it tho for sure 100%.
He’s sick tonight. Not playing.
Oh, is Remy doing the game?
Wanamaker or Rozier?
Rozier going behind the back for a turnover down 20.
It’s like they think their obligation to play offense is extinguished after one pass.
One pass then it’s a free for all.
this is crazy but as bad as this is u guys couild at least with a round i dont trust philly
Kyle Lowry has incredible triceps
Rozier is unwatchable. Just not good basketball. More fouls than assists for a point guard in 17 minutes.
Tatum and Jaylen seem dramatically underused.
They for sure miss Baynes badly - will he be back to 100 percent? That *may* make a difference. I guess.
I wonder if Danny ever brings up changing the substitution patterns to Brad. I'm honestly shocked he's playing TimeLord at all tonight. I mean over a short stretch early in the season all he showed is that he can change the game on defense and provide a bit of offense with his dunk game. Best to keep him stapled to the bench really.
A thousand times this. The fact that it led to a wide open transition three for Toronto just makes it better. This team has zero discipline.
MaMo and Kyrie just need to go for the chicken and beer now to complete the season
