yabu done for a month after that roll. shit.
DOES NOT LOOK GOOD.
Paging DRS . . .
Why is Brown in the game? No one left on roster?
ouch that looked bad for Yabu
I want some perry dozier tonight
They should just play 4 on 5 rest of the game.
I want a 50 point win.
21 3's for the C's now. Isn't that really close to the team record?
Is Semi a serious 3 and D threat yet? People keep saying “if he keeps hitting those 3s..” and he’s been money for a few weeks now.
Theis > Rozier
Our garbage time lineup is unfair
Wannamaker ballin out
Chicago is The Celtics' kind of town
I want 60
Gorman to Scal "Brad could put you in the game right now, and it would work.."
this team continues to play HARD.
I might be wearing my Celtics shirt around town tomorrow
one more first down and they can take a knee
ESPN Gamecast has the Celtics with a 99.9% chance to win this.
Cmon get a 2 for 1
Biggest win in C's history. Previous record was 51.
Don't go to the south side though. I don't want to worry.
Theis made his case.
Daniel Theis a tidy +50 in 32 minutes. Is that a record?
Probably is for him
Theis, player of the game.
Nope. Here's a +57 in 26 minutes. That's the best in last 20 years.
Joe Smith has had a +52.
I barely go south of the north suburbs
yea, but Theis numbers don't count because traditional scouting says they are useless due to specific matchups and limited skills
Yeah it gets real rough once you cross Lake Cook Rd.
Falcons say hello
Smart/Theis is this generation's Stockton/Malone.
Contract year. Guy's just putting up numbers.
Kyrie scored 13 and nearly won by 60. Dear God.
Jaylen might have flipped a switch.
Brad says bad sprain, no break, about Yabu.
Celtics tied NBA record for highest margin of victory in a road game, according to Drapes
Time for the Time Lord!
Yeah but the Bulls suck so it doesn't matter. It's like the Sox beating the Rays in April. Meaningless.
the part about Kyrie made me chuckle
Shoutout from Hyde Park.
What a beatdown. This was the team we expected going into the season. Their 2nd unit grouping can thrash most of the opposing 2nds in the league. While I expect that Stevens will begin to use guys in a more fluid, match-up dependent manner as the season progresses, I hope they just roll with this lineup construction for a minute.
That was a beating. Once it got beyond 25 I honestly had a hard time doing the math on the margin. It’s not typical to see those numbers.
This game was all but over after the first few minutes and the 17 point run. The 8 point run at the half sealed it.
But the Celts played close to a flawless game
No Horford, no Baynes, Yabu goes down, and the C's outrebounded the Bulls 54-37. The C's were 22/43 from 3, for 51.2%. My boy, Jaylen, who I will never give up on, 23 points, 5 boards, 3 assists, 2 steals, +26 in 28 minutes on 8/11 shooting (3/3 from deep).
This Bulls team is an abject embarrassment. No team should lose by this much especially at home. Have some pride.
Theis put on a clinic tonight on how a big is supposed to play basketball.
Jaylen feasting on bench defenders the past two games. 44 points in 53 minutes on only 21 shots.
Rozier starting to come around. In the last five games, he's putting up 11.4 ppg in 22 minutes, shooting 49/43%.
Morris putting together a very efficient season in a contract year. 13.8 ppg in 26.6 minutes, shooting a sterling 48/41/87%.
We also attempted more FTs than them.
After Celtics superstar Theis, the next highest +/- players were the Marcii with +34 for Mook and +32 for Agent Of Chaos. As many others have posted, moving them to the starting line-up really does seem to be one of the keys to their recent run in addition to playing some straight up shitty teams. And on the latter point, they are flat out killing those teams like they should so that is positive too.
