Continue to not suck so much!
Take the Bulls by the Horns
No Al, no Aron ? Sleepers Awake! Achtung Theis und Williams!
Bury the Bulls
Shake Chicago to it's core
While waiting for tip-off—If the NBA stole an idea from MLB and allowed nicknames on uniforms what would the Celtics pick?
Baynes, Horford OUT, Big Sleep is away from the team after the birth of his daughter. Theis starting at the 5, Semi and Yabusele destined for minutes.
Brand the Bulls!
Who's the backup at the 5? Morris? Yabu Shabu?
Mannix got a very nice haircut
Stacy King is enormous
Bad Lob #1 of the night. Jayson, just throw the floater at the hoop, and if it goes, it goes, if it doesn't, Theis is there for the board.
Hey Theis, TRY NOT TO GET IN FOUL TROUBLE TODAY. UMMM, K?
Archie has no chance defending Jayson
they are swarming on D!
Neither did Markkanen on the step back 3....
I know it's the bulls, but what a start
Smart starting brings an extra level to the defensive intensity at the start. I like it. Then the Celts have an almost equally talented second unit waiting to come in. This is nice.
playing some gold-glove D
Having the Marci start makes for some hella opening D.
lmaoooo this crowd
i love this game already
Alright this is getting nuts
On track for a shutout.
Not even sure what to say about this. Combine good defense with the Bulls not being able to hit literally anything, and I guess this is what happens.
17-0.. is that good?
Is this the Pats-Dolphins game thread?
Smart's bulldog defense with zero pressure to score a point with the starters.
Then the knockout punch of Hayward, Brown and Rozier waiting to come in.
It took a long time and this is the wrong sport but I guess Boston vs Chicago revenge has been brewing for over 30 years.
"more timeouts taken than points"
I love Mike Gorman
Yes, and it's amazing what a difference it makes when you insert another starter who creates for others instead of looking for his own offense.
They did just beat the white-hot Thunder yesterday. Somehow.
yabu??? over Semi???
10 Turnovers by Russ helped
Kyrie might want to think about shooting the fucking ball when he is wide open
okay Yabu that was a pretty sweet move. you looked like an actual nba player there
Last year, I had a lot of moments where I didn't love Morris' game, but man, I love everything about him this year for the most part. Even when he takes a bad shot, they're so few and far between and surrounded by so much good stuff that they're forgivable now.
Terry just has no idea when there's defenders around him. I don't know if our feelings about Terry are based on seeing him immediately after Kyrie every night, or if he's really just an awful point guard. I mean, everyone would look bad when compared to Kyrie, but Terry just puts his head down and goes with no idea how it's going to end.
Even Yabu looking good.
all the points Yabu scores is a bonus.
If he just sets screens for Tatum/Hayward, plays with energy and doesn't put up any silly shots that's a plus.
Zero points for starters one minute into the second quarter is impressive.
Yabu guarding Levine out on the perimeter seems like a poor idea
Rebound. Rebound. Rebound.
i know with a 20-point lead it’s hard to pick nits, but the c’s are playing sloppy on the boards and in the half court offense.
c'mon Jaylen, do something besides dribble it like a klutz
Yabu is barely a G league player.
yabu is getting out-rebounded by scrubs and it's irritating.
I just complimented you. be useful.
Jaylen gets to the line TWO GAMES IN A ROW. This is unprecedented.
its a shame the Time Lord wasn't here, he'd be getting serious minutes
Jaylen was about to put a HURTING on that rim if the guy didn't grab him.
Jabari "they don't pay me to play defense" Parker is the gift that keeps on giving, first to Morris, now to Brown.
