Yes. 100% yes, especially now that it's in HD. Even though in season 1 they're using pagers and pay phones, it's no more dated than Mad Men is with them drinking for breakfast.

The show is incredible. Can't say enough good things about it.
You don't drink for breakfast?  Pfft.

Not worth it to me. I'd rather have some quiet time at night to drink beer and watch hockey and in General relax for a few hours.
Yeah, ditto.  Need my two hours for SoSH, hockey, chatting with the wife and weekday sex.

I had DL'd the complete series a year or so ago, but it wasn't in HD - which I think is why I quit 5 minutes in. I'll have to find an HD version.

Does it start pretty quick or do I need to watch a couple episodes for it to warm up?
I think it's on HBOGo in HD now.  And it generally takes 5 episodes to figure out who everybody is unless you binge watch it, which I hear takes around 3 then.

How did they adjust when they started going to school?
They've transitioned them to an earlier bedtime since they became toddlers - that was just for infancy as an attempt to avoid the 4 AM wake-ups.  Oldest is 4.

HBO go has the entire series in HD now, that was new this Friday. You need to give it 4 episodes. It's a whole different type of show and needs 4 episodes to figure out how it works. Not that it's confusing or has a lot of twists and turns, but it doesn't spoon feed you everything. It just depicts reality and expects you to put some pieces together. And it takes some time to pick up the dialect and character names.

By the end of episode 4 you'll know if you like it or not.

Amazon prime has it streaming too.

Between here and everywhere.
This may be blasphemy...

But is it a coincidence that Marchands best game in maybe the last two seasons comes when he's not playing with Bergeron?

Edit: and then he goes and does that.

Should he not have shafted the guy in the palms with his stick?

It's been nearly 30 seconds since they were last shorthanded, of course it's time for another.

Cunningham needs to learn how to stay onside but his PK ability may make a vet or two expendable.
That's a hard one to blame on Cunningham.  Marchand lost the puck right at the blue line and caused a delay in gaining the zone that messed up the timing with everything.

Greaaaaaat work there by the 4th line.  Or whatever the hell the Campbell line is right now.

I'm probably awful for saying this, but every time Soderberg gives an interview, I expect him to start throwing wooden spoons and chickens.
