You mean when the guy who was out of bounds stole the ball from him?
It wasn't that bad. He was clearly out
The only dumbass is Scalabrine. Dude clearly was out of bounds and interfered with Smart's inbounds pass.
That was exceedingly dumb, Marcus.
Gorman with the "good night."
Al with the dagger!
Al MF Horford
This team is a tease
Good comeback win
Horford 5/7 from deep tonight. And we needed all of them.
Al with some huge 3's. Great comeback tonight.
Get healthy Al bc I love you and we need you
No, it really wasn't
Big, big win. Well done C’s!
Kyrie and Horford are a lethal combination.
The only time Kyrie can rely on a whistle is when they intentionally foul to stop the clock.
This team is going to kill me. Bear with me, all.
No they aren't. They're good. They're going to be figuring out roles, rotations, combinations, etc most of the regular season.
That was a great comeback win. I simply can’t figure this team out but glad Tankathon got the W.
gutsy win... Yabusele played a big role
Memphis had one less points in the second quarter, 38, than they had in the entire second half, 39.
Props to Yabu for mucking things up in the second half.
NBA games aren't really like any other sports. Teams go on runs all the time. Its not like football where a 19 point lead is nearly impossible to overcome.
What a win! Crazy comeback!
God I love Kyrie Irving.
The Cs held the Grizzlies to 16 points in the fourth. Nicely done
Needed this one. I feel like this team has won like 1 game in San Antonio in the past 20 years.
Guess who was second in +/- after Kyrie?
Great win. 4th quarter was quite entertaining.
Weak chest pass into congestion under own hoop with 2 possession lead late in game? If the defender got foot inbounds...
Hey, no matter now. Play he made before that to deflect inbounds pass was awesome. But he could ball fake, run the baseline, use bounce pass. Etc. Quick pass a good idea to not allow D to set up, but IMO unnecessarily risky. YMMV.
48 minute game. Nice defense in Q4, and a really good game from Kyrie at both ends. LOL, Smart made two game winning plays before he tried to hand the game back to Memphis at the end.
I had a post all typed up to excoriate Al. And then he went nuts. So I’ll just go with this instead:
I love you Al!
If Kyrie ever starts getting the foul calls his superstar status deserves, this team will be even better.
Anderson shouldn't have been there and most of the time, the defender isn't in that spot. Smart can be accused of many things but his BBIQ isn't one of them - he is one of the guys on the court along with Irving and Horford who knows what the opposition is doing before they start to run their action.
Scal asked an interesting question to which I didn't know the answer off the top of my head. He wondered what happens if a defender runs up and touches the ball on an inbounds before it gets on the court. Anderson was essentially doing that and it was either the C's ball or a technical foul against the Grizzlies.
Oh, and Scott Foster is a stain on all sports.
Horford! Kyrie! What a comeback!
Horford closed 'em out.
Perimeter Al is lethal
Your posting consistency is unmatched. Respect.
loving Brad's post game right now... we're going to eventually get it right
Its your boy, Guerschon, of course.
I went and looked. Yabu!
Perimeter Al is an All-Star
and our 5th string Center will lead the way...
whoever called that gets the giant stuffed Panda
I thought that was a technical, but I'm probably wrong.
Out for dinner all night, really pissed I missed the emotional swings of this one. At least the replay won't be as stressful, and I get to be sanctimonious with everyone for freaking out when obviously the Celtics had it the whole time.
