I guess I’ll do it?
Missing some guys. Rask in the net. I'll watch the Leafs for a while. Stars are hosting Detroit. We know 2 guys who better score lol.
Crap. Gotta be better than that.
I’ve seen about enough of Nordstrom in a top 6 role. He can’t score and if he’s going to loaf on the back check and allow a layup rebound goal just staple his ass to the bench.
Hell hath frozeth over.
Good work by Miller.
Looks like Heinen is benched after pulling up/not battling for a puck along the board. Could be an injury but looks benched to me.
He’s been disappointing this year after a great second season. They have a lot of young wings, it will be interesting to watch him the rest of this game and in future ones.
Eichel looks indignant in the box. Chara is leaking.
I’m really leaning towards moving on from Krug. I feel like McAvoy could take his power play time and not be a liability.
How about not deploying the feared "umbrella" any more
We are hanging in there. A win would go a long way.
No love for Jack.
Shoot the fucking puck
Thank you Mr. Ref.
Chris Kreider for Krug. Similar age. Similar contracts (1.5 left, ~5 per). Both have a cant-trade-to list though, which might complicate things. NY needs more D, B's need more forwards.
I’d do it.
Movement on a power play? You can do that
Just the tip
we can steal this
When was the last time setting up Pasternak at the dot was worth the time and effort.
Wow did Skinner sell that.
Little slew foot there?
The threat of it opens other stuff up. It’s worth trying.
He grabbed Krejci and went down. The puck was well away from him but he made sure the ref saw it.
Jack has really sucked lately. T4P was absolutely right the other night. He’s been terrible.
FUCK YEAH KURALY!
OH YEAH! KURALY!
Keep the cage!
This kind of win is a momentum-starter.
Stealing a win on the road. I like this very much.
Also, the words “not sure Kuraly, Miller, and Gryz are the 3 I’d go with” were barely out of my mouth...
Love the comeback. Love the heart.
As much as Krug will be known for scoring goals, I think Grzelcyk will be known for assists. He continues to be in the right place to both receive and then give a clean pass to create legit scoring opportunities a few times a game.
Bruins pick up a point on Buffalo and two points on Montreal. Canadiens lost 6-5 on a Tampa Bay goal with 1:02 left in regulation.
I didn't get to watch tonight, but if forced to choose between Grz and Krug, I choose Grz every time.
I am a fanboy, though, so take that FWIW.
My concerns about sleepy starts were mitigated tonight by a vigorous finish. More, please.
