Hopefully that helps get Marchand's confidence back. He needs to continue putting pucks on net instead of curling at the half wall every time he carries the puck into the offensive zone.

The first goal was a great shot, the second one....not so much. Nice to see him getting a break go his way though.

Yeah it was the sound that told me it was no goal. Pretty clear ping of it hitting the post and since it was low there's nothing else it could have hit in the net to make that happen.

NESN audio is fine for me, by the way.

Nice lateral movement from warsofsky there. It's amazing how much movement and skating these young guys bring to the defense. A far cry from Shane Hnidy and Steve Montador, that's for sure.

He's been playing really well the last couple of games. We discussed it one or two game threads ago. He finally caught some breaks tonight.

We'd regularly have 5-6 page gamethreads in the past, seems to be much quieter overall.

RMPS has gotten...tired.

Just your ordinary, boring 1st or 2nd place team.  No one doing anything special positively or negatively.  It's amazing really that they are where they are in the standings.

That goal was all Caron's fault. Real bad decision and angle as the 3rd man high.

Caron decides to go for a skate after the pass from Johnson doesn't connect. Why he isn't stopping and sprinting back is beyond me.

They're tied for 12th in the league in goals, having played less games than most of the teams ahead of them.
 
They've also done it with half of an AHL roster starting for them for a portion of the season.
