Fluto tweeted the practice lines today:

Marchand-Bergeron-Backes
Schaller-Krejci-Pastrnak
Heinen-Spooner-Czarnik/Hayes
Moore-Nash-Acciari

Worth a try, don't you think? Krejci and Backes aren't clicking. Moving Spooner back to center and putting Heinen and Czarnik on his wings may generate speed and chances -- just be careful who they get matched up with, or they'll generate chances for both sides.

Vatrano is close, but won't be in Montreal.

Bruins lose to Colorado 4-2. Colorado loses to Montreal 10-1. Obviously the Bruins should be expected to lose this one 20 to 0.25.

Reverse lock?

I know they have to do something to get the bottom 3 lines scoring but I HATE moving Pastrnak off Bergeron's line. I'd rather move Marchand, to be honest. Putting their best offensive player with the guy who makes the team get all the shots has made the best line in the NHL this season, it's crazy to break them up.

I also don't like that 3rd line on the road. It would actually make a lot of sense to at home where you can give them sheltered matchups but I don't like it in this game. I think it's essentially going to be their 4th line tonight.

edit: Hayes in for Heinen so I like it even less

Yeah - that's the price of playing men's league.

Sorry TSC - early flight tomorrow and Pats tonight, so no go unfortunately. I just realized leaving the rink will coincide with the Pats game ending so F that traffic.

Between here and everywhere.

Yea. I have a 6:50am flight out of TF Green for an interview in Philadelphia tomorrow. My decision wasn't an easy one to make, but it's only my second game back from shoulder surgery, so I really want the ice time.

Fortunately I can take all backroads back to my house in Wrentham from the rink, so Patriot traffic doesn't effect me all that much.

I'll regret it tomorrow, but I'll love it tonight.

I have no confidence that he won't get suspended. I don't think he should, but he will.

This is the team we/the fans wanted. Youth, speed, skill.
No issue with the Bruins handling of it here. More just the typical Montreal hypocrisy where Emelin flies around the ice occasionally crossing the line (not the Pastrnak hit tonigh), but then won't answer when challenged.

Emelin brings this on his own team - see: not facing up to Iginla after low-bridging Colborne in a 10-1 game.

And now Radulov won't drop them either. I completely agree with you there.

He'll probably get suspended because Montreal will whine, but I didn't think it was that bad. Shaw was lunging for the puck and thus lowered his head down to Krug's shoulder level.
