Murray might be related to Andrew Toney
UGGGH JAYSON MAKE THAT
It feels like he’s shooting like 35% this season.
Horford really fultz'ed that one.
Those were Al's first 2 3 point attempts of the night, after passing up a bunch of open looks earlier. He probably should have kept passing them up.
Nobody should shoot but Kyrie.
GIVE KYRIE THE BALL
Kyrie is a highlight reel in human form
young guys lighting up Uncle Drew
That was some of the worst help defense I’ve ever seen.
Brown fouled again, no call.
if smart isn’t going to play plus defense, he needs to sit his ass on the bench
Murray sez: you coulda drafted me with #3.
Jaylen will never get an and-1 for the entirety of his career.
Smart getting in Murray's head is exactly what we need right now.
Damn, needed that one from Kyrie.
Big Al, short breath.
Can’t hurt right?
A Smart 3 with plenty of shot clock. Sigh.
Kyrie forces one.
What kind of fuckery is this?
I feel like I've seen a lot of dragging of the pivot feet on drives.. isn't that traveling? Or am I just seeing something?
I officially hate Hanlen as much as I hate Kobe
Murray is throwing beach balls into the ocean
Entertaining game. Murray caught fire and was simply too much.
It's hard to comeback with this lineup when Kyrie is such a defensive liability and Smart is such an offensive liability.
10 games in and Brad doesn't know what lineup to use to close out games against good teams.
Murray was out his mind, tough to be beat that. His constant preening was a bit much though.
Intentionally fouling with 5 seconds left on the shot clock is not too smart....
WTF is going on?
For those who hate the plus/minus stat, Murray is minus-5
well, they won the 1 st quarter
222 points and only 2 players scored more than 15. Weird.
Do the numbers exist that we can see how these lineups are doing? Particularly, I think the C's look really bad anytime Brad is pairing up 2 and sometimes even 3 of Kyrie, Smart and Rozier. When 2 of them are on the floor at the same time, it's just not working. Smart and Rozier are constantly running the offense over Kyrie, and when Smart and Rozier are on the floor together, the offense is a fucking disaster.
The hope is that Hayward gets back into form and Jaylen gets his head out of his ass.
Kyries not a good defender but he’s good enough to be in down the stretch. Smart should only be in for offense/defense subs in the last 2 minutes when Brad knows he’s going to use a TO when they get the ball back.
I’m glad he didn’t get 50.....
It’s not Murray. It’s scoring 107 after a 34 point first quarter. 22, 25, and 26 point quarters after that.
Punk move by Murray. His peers aren't going to be too impressed with the preening and break of league protocol.
MaMo has been the best player on the team this year. Tonight, he was the worst player on the floor. Plus minus is correct in his case -19. 4 turnovers, 6 points, terrible defense, just the type of game we worry about from him. Hopefully, that's an exception to the rule this year.
the Smart, Rozier, Semi, MaMo, Baynes lineup in the first half was a disaster
Murray just pissed in his formal wear.
Umm, Jaylen has been playing great basketball the last few games.
I think we need to move Rozier before the deadline and hope Kyrie stays healthy.
Murray pulled a punkish move on Lonzo last season
The Celtics are supposed to have a loaded bench. The bench got outscored by 10 points in an eight point loss. Celtics bench 26 points on 26 shots and their starters 81 points on 61 shots.
Combined with allowing Denver to score 96 points over the final three quarters.
Yeah he has been way more aggressive lately. He looks a lot more like the guy who was so good in the playoffs last season.
The team as a whole is underperforming their individual talent so far. We haven’t seen that happen yet so it’s frustrating but it’s obviously way too early to worry. If they still struggle to break 110 by Christmas I’ll be nervous.
does Kyle Draper seem happy when the Celtics lose?
Love the reaction from Randle there. And I love that he's lighting it up for New Orleans this year. Guy is a good player.
They sucked when they came back in too. Semi & Baynes were mostly invisible and the other 3 actively cost us points.
Meh. Still not concerned. Stevens and staff are still figuring this all out and its not easy. Hayward isn't anywhere near 100% and the rest of the team is still feeling out their respective roles. Finally, it will come as no shock to anyone who has watched this team but Denver is a really good, really deep team. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if they are the two seed out of the West though my money is still on Utah because I like Snyder as a coach more than Malone. But it isn't an easy place to play.
We're on to Phoenix. If they lose there, we should probably be mildly concerned.
I didn’t think they’d lose four games all season
Zach Lavine took more foul shots by himself tonight than the entire Celtics team (14-12). He took 25 shots from the field, and 10 were 3's.
This is an ongoing problem, and I don't know how you fix it, but when teams are constantly getting 25-30 foul shots and a night, and the Celtics are consistently sitting in the 12-16 range, you can't win with those numbers. I'm sorry, but you can't. Every game will be close if that kind of discrepancy exists night in and night out.
