For once, I don't disagree with the officials. Goal should stand.

The frustrating thing is that San Jose isn't very good and is a one line team. Stop Thornton/Pavelski and you win the game. Bruins used to be so good at shutting down, or at least containing, the other teams top line. Not anymore. Getting steamrolled by Jumbo tonight.

I remember at one point last season, with about 10 games left or so and the Bruins up by a goal, Gregory Campbell made possibly the dumbest icing I have ever seen, with absolutely nobody near him. I don't remember who they were playing, but it was one of the teams in the playoff chase with them. Immediately, I noted on the board that it was going to be awesome when the opposing team scored because of the icing and then won the game, and the Bruins missed the playoffs by two points.

Of course, that's exactly what happened.

I get that exact same feeling every time Kevan Miller is on the ice. It's like they are trying to waste points at this point in the season, and I fear it will definitely come back to haunt them.

This team needs a 1B Defenseman. Chara-TRADE, Seidenberg-Trotman, Krug-McQuaid is a playoff-caliber NHL roster. This team's forwards are not the reason this team is losing these games, and given the wide open or self-team-screened shots that Rask is facing, this certainly isn't all on him either. This team needs a serious upgrade on Defense, and they have the cap room to make a trade.

Julien is having a meltdown, it appears. Ripping them a new one. Deservedly so. Bruins have had leads in 16 of 17 games this year, unacceptable to be 8-8-1.

Miller is 28, makes $800K, and has a 18 points in 106 career NHL games. Make a few calls and see if someone will send you a lottery ticket 6th or 7th rounder for him, but if not, give him the Irwin treatment. Waivers and send him to Providence if/when he clears. I'd rather give the ice time to Morrow/Trotman/C. Miller to continue their development. They'll make mistakes too, but at least they've got higher ceilings.

I didn't listen to the whole show, but I don't believe he was on. They didn't tease it and looks like Rich didn't mention it on Twitter.

B's have also flipped Marchand/Connolly again. Lines in practice:
Marchand-Bergeron-Hayes
Vatrano-Krejci-Eriksson
Beleskey-Spooner-Connolly
Rinaldo-Kemppainen-Randell
