WHAT?? NO CALL?
Real or not real?
Hayward could barely get that dunk over the rim and got rejected by Mitchell. That’s...not good.
welp, our dunk is nicely blocked, theirs is uncontested.
This is... something. Brown taking a real step back this year.
can I see some Bob?
Hasn’t played two bigs together all season it seems.
True for everybody, Kyrie excluded.
he didn’t dress tonight unfortunately
OMG, if Theis missed that, I was definitely turning it off. He really can't dunk from there?
Whistles put away?
Just get it to single digits.
Nice stuff bench guys.
Kyrie in, but so is Yabu, Wanamaker and Semi. Is Brad giving up on this game or not, I can't tell.
Jaylen Brown is shooting 37% this year, 28% from 3.
Can't say Semi, Theis & KI aren't trying. That's for sure.
yabusele looking thiccccc
The third string comes in and it’s instant energy and effort.
Morris has been better this year. Probably Baynes too
People playing like they actually give af now.
You'd think Brad would be willing to try just about anything at this point. Everyone keeps telling me that Al Horford HATES playing the 5, and he's not very good at it. Well, if Brad won't ever play him and Baynes, or him and Theis, doesn't that mean every fucking minute Horford is on the floor, he's playing the 5?
So is Brad just purposely eliminating one of the most important players on the team by putting him in a spot he's not good at night in and night out?
I think he is frustrated with the effort and decision making by the others. Put in guys who actually run the actions and execute versus trying to free-lance or take early in the clock mid-range jumpers.
Just need Theis/Yabu set screens/picks for Kyrie and then race to the offensive boards.
And fun to watch.
I think Brad just benched everybody not named Kyrie.
I like it.
Honestly thing Wannamaker is more useful than Rozier right now. A replacement level guard who plays decent defense and makes the right pass is more valuable than anything Rozier is bringing to the table.
What the world needs, and the Celtics, is more Daniel Theis.
I thought Tatum looked good tonight for the most part, but yeah a message needs to be sent
I don't understand how that's a foul on Theis? It seems like our opponents are allowed to get physical with our guards and wings all the time, and I never ever see a ref make that call.
Ok so these are fouls. But grabbing a guy going for a layup isn’t. Ok. Got it.
what did Yabu even do for that call?
And it’s not like Theis can’t handle switches (Baynes too in small doses). Pigheaded observance of a pre-season plan that isn’t working.
Wanamaker isn't really replacement level. He is a recipe to get roasted
Kyrie out there deferring to Brad fucking Wanamaker just pull him off the floor and try again next game.
hey zebras, fuck off
Theis forgot whom he was guarding there.
I know having Daniel Theis in the floor is better than just playing with four guys, but I forget from time to time.
Tatum at 23 minutes
I don't think they're getting it to single digits.
So Kyrie passes up an open three to get one for ........Wanamaker? Then they foul Rubio shooting a three. What could have been a 10 point game is now 16.
Besides playing with little effort, this team plays stupid basketball.
yabu muscling his way into a foul
A+ my dude
Yabu could be a modern day Anthony Mason.
These refs really are garbage.
Theis getting exposed.
I'm expecting some booing off of the court at the end of this.
They need to start playing a lot fucking harder, fucking break some noses if you’re going to get called for the touch bullshit anyway.
