He is so so strong.
The one Judge we can all agree on
Man...that bases loaded inning is gonna bite us isn’t it
Wow. This game is kind of entertaining, no? That looked like he fought it off, off the bat. Thought it'd go short of the Pesky Pole.
Scratch what I said about Stanton.
That was a Posada AB
Trade Stanton. He's a piece of shit.
Quite a cut by Voit
Shit that sucks! Boston lucked out on that one.
Stanton is not a true yankee. He is a-rod to Judge’s jeter.
Guaranteed Price throws eight shutout tomorrow. Yankees blew their chance.
Seriously, though, Stanton is horrible. Striking out over and over.
Give Cora credit because he knew enough to take ineffective relievers out of the game?
ARod at least crushed in 2004 and 2009. Stanton just sucks.
OK, tomorrow is a must-win now. Frustrating but also lots of good signs, too bad about Hicks (I don't know an update past 'tightness').
Yeah, it was a loss. But not a bad one. They were fighting, the bullpen looks like a real strength for the Yankees and a glaring weakness for the Sox.
They lost, but in a weird way, it feels like the Yankees have the momentum.
This is Gaston. Every time I see Stanton, this is who comes to mind.
It was a pretty bad loss. When you have chances to win a Chris Sale game when your starter was knocked out in the third you need to do so.
Have to knock Price out early tomorrow.
Gaston at least killed a few people. Stanton would just stand there while a tea cup killed all his men.
Great game between two pretty good clubs.
Terry gets tomorrow's start because he's somehow still positive?
Last two years, 7-0 at home in the postseason, 1-7 on the road.
The rest of the AL is 1-11 on the road in the AL playoffs in that time span, no one has been winning road games.
He was getting it anyway, some big starts down the stretch when we needed it. At least I got us through the coin flip game and came close tonight, couldn't get that one big hit.
Not praying for injuries, but Hicks being out for the series would be huge.
"Aaron Hicks said that he will have an MRI in the morning, but hopes to be able to play tomorrow. Said it felt more like a cramp."
Meanwhile Steven Wright may be out.
That's a big blow to us, especially against you guys.
This game was shitty. But there’s nothing about the loss that’s a cause for alarm. On the other hand, the game was a bunch of red sirens for the Sox. You got beat by their best power hitter, no big deal. Stanton needs to smarten up but I’m not worried about the offense. Lots of nerves for this game in Boston. We take game 2, I’m super confident about home field.
