Great point by Brickley. The NHL is so concerned with these little slashes, yet you can still bury a guy somewhat from behind without penalty

Just show any young kid that last Bergeron shift of the period. Leads the rush up the ice, drop pass to Postma, missed net going the other way and Bergeron catches up to the puck before the defensive blue line and beats Postma back. He’s a goddamn legend.

Yeah, his passing seems noticeably better than last season
Yeah that shift that drew the penalty was incredible. Gets into the play just in time to break up a scoring chance, takes the puck, works it to the wing, skates hard all the way down the ice, gets a scoring chance and drew the penalty. It was Bergeron-esque.
