It's the type of "clean" hit that I'm fine with being a penalty. I know those types of things happen quickly but he was in a really vulnerable position. Someone on the Red Wings got hurt badly in a similar situation a few years ago
Then get rid of all open ice hits, or don't allow players to use their hands at all on the puck. If you're going to stand with your head straight up the air and try to catch a puck like that, you should know you're going to get hit.

They beat Columbus, Jersey and Winnipeg; likely all missing the playoffs. There's not too much reason for optimism.
If they open up with a bad enough record, maybe they'll cut bait on McQuaid, Liles and Hayes and bring in the young guys. Without getting a top 4D, this team never needed the vets, they weren't gong to contend.
Marchand has seemed to do a lot of hero mode stuff since his hot start. Great when it works but it's getting to be a bit much at times.
