The Nets are now decent, although terrible on the second night of back-to-backs. They are also banged up. There are no excuses tonight.
More Gordon too. And more Smart shooting 62.5% from deep.
Globe: Kyrie, MaMo say they're ready to go; TL questionable.
Sounded like TL was good to go on the commute home. Neutralize the Nets.
Nets are 12-3 in their last 15 games, and in the top 5 in just about every category in the NBA over that time, including PPG. D'Angelo Russell has taken his game to another level.
Needless to say, let's crush them, but it may actually be a better test than we usually think when the Nets come to town.
Like half the team is out tonight, though. Should be Gino time.
Yeah I'm a bit disappointed: would have been a good test game.
Jesus. That's a jaw dropper. I knew they were doing well, but ... someone in the front office over there deserves an award.
Do they ever miss?
That referee is an absolute unit.
The Nets very cleverly rebuilt without high picks by just entering the never miss cheat code.
What are they calling Kurucs? Sounds like they're saying Koons or something.
Wait, did Kyrie just get a call for a defender bodying him as he drove to the hoop?
I love when Tatum passes.
Yep, then the next time down, he fires up a contested 3 with 20 seconds left on the clock...Uggh.
The contested three with about 18 seconds on the shot clock was less awesome
Nets get totally screwed by the schedule makers.
Celtics on a few days rest, on an extended home stretch. Nets 2nd night of a back to back, on the road.
Seriously who the fuck is Kurucs?
Marcus Smart may sorta actually kinda have a shot now?
Marcus Korver back in action.
Biggest bargain in the league.
Marcus Smart is well on his way to being criminally underpaid.
Marcus Smart is teasing us so hard.
There are several men wandering around Latvia saying the same exact thing.
When he squares up and is balanced, his shot looks pretty damn good.
I was hoping the Celtics would buy a second round pick to draft him last year. He got a raw deal at FCB Barcelona. He refused to resign, so they benched him, trying to damage his draft standing.
He can shoot and put it on the floor. The only question with him is defense.
Nets seem undisciplined
Kyrie kept going and everyone else just stopped. Whoa!
Brad getting cute with line-up
Those were both from the same spot where he drained at least a few of those 12 three’s he made in a row the other day in practice.
He is an inverse, Latvian Marcus Smart
You are spot on. Also, I watched that clip a few more times than should be considered healthy.
Who is number 20 for the Celtics? Did they call him up from the G League?
Nets have 8 turnovers.
Celtics have 0.
The Nets: worse at the lob than the Celtics.
Fucking absurd call on Jaylen.
That was bullshit. Manimal was all over Jaylen.
Pretty sure about five of them have gone about 8 rows into the seats.
I think #20 is best utilized when Kyrie is off the floor. He is at his best when the ball is in his hands and he doesn’t get that opportunity much when Kyrie is on the floor.
Harden gets an and one there.
Imagine if we hit the easy shots in the paint and didn’t get called for bullshit offensive fouls. Ball movement looks good even with Kyrie back
Yep. Of course, he is James Harden so given the way the league operates, it makes some sense even if its bullshit.
Rozier was hammered. No call. The Celtics get zero respect from the point-shaving zebras.
They had some magic sparks during preseason last year. Gordon's athleticism made a jump while Kyrie was out. That's why he has been playing better over the last week.
Jaylen looks like a completely different player these days.
Just tuned in at start of second. Looks like I missed the game.
