Important game here, B’s and Sabres are tied in points. Would be nice to get in a run and build some separation. Sabres will be without Eichel.

Cave is coming out, kids 3rd line back.

Marchand - Bergeron - Pastrnak
DeBrusk - Krejci - Backes
Donato - JFK - Heinen
Kuraly - Acciari - Wagner

Chara - Carlo
Krug - Moore
Grzelyck - Miller

Rask

Wish this was a 1:00 game today. Alas.

Glad it's a night game as I am stuck at work today, and this is a big game to start the second half. It feels like the B's are ready to go on a run, but I've felt that way before, too. I like seeing TFP's name a bunch of times in a row, though, so let's keep it going.

My putting today was as on-fire as pasta is from the left side dot. Now, that's the reason I shot +24 instead of +30, but thank god for small miracles, huh?

Yes, he touched the goalie, but the goalie had to go out of the crease to get in his way. I like the appeal.

After they failed to blow it dead under the pad last game. Of course.

Brick is wrong. They can challenge offsides.

You have unlimited offside challenges, you just get a penalty if you are wrong. They can’t challenge GI anymore.

They had a bad shift in the middle of the period, but I like the 17-23-43 line. They were pretty good together earlier in the season too.

This may sound like one of the most obvious things ever, but I think getting people back from injury, stabilizing the lines, and giving people time to work together and build chemistry is really showing in the final product.
