It was the right call but the whole offside review thing is the worst rule/review in all of hockey.
My partisan perspective deemed that Krug had been tripped by Byron on that breakaway.
Love that Backes could have shot that and probably would have scored. But the better/safer play was to lay it out there for Nash.
Thought about posting this earlier, but didn't want to jinx anything:
I honestly can't remember another time when everyone on the team, from top to bottom, was on the same page the way everyone on the Bruins is right now. Every time they pass the puck, even the no look stuff, the intended recipient is right where he needs to be. It's every line, and it's happening even when the lines are mixed up. Hard passes, soft passes, and on defense every time a defenseman engages, it seems one of the forwards is reading his mind and already in the spot he vacated covering for him. They are absolutely incredible right now.

Depends on how things shake out with the Wild Cards but I think so. Pittsburgh could be dicey, but I’d prefer all the other Metro teams to Toronto.
Yeah, I expect the Pens will eventually go on a run and finish in the top 3, but the thought of a first round matchup against them is uncomfortable.
I would take any metro team except Washington over Toronto. The Leafs are going to get every fucking call in a first round series. I'd seriously rather see Pittsburgh who may well be gassed after two straight long playoff runs or a Rangers team that looks like they're getting old. If we're lucky a Colombus or New Jersey drops. All better options than playing 5 against 9 every game.
I just realized that Pastranak scored the Blades of Steel goal. It’s a little trick, line up near the boards perpendicular to the goalie and shoot and it bounces off the goalie and in more often than not. I choose to believe that’s what inspired him, even though he’s way too young to have played it growing up.
