I wonder if the correction comes when the crew whispers in their ear during the commercial.
I think we are having fun.
That looks like Utah Hayward.
Very noticeable especially when everyone else is moving the ball like crazy.
Still super young and came in with much higher expectations. Needs to just chill a bit and simplify. Move the ball and it’ll come back to you, likely with you more open.
And then the second quarter happened.
Seriously Hayward should be sent to the G league or stapled to the bench or at least take January off
I dunno, this is the last game against MN this year.
This is the G I remember
Hayward is just a kinda boring Larry Bird.
The Gordon League
As much as I hope this is the Gordon that's here to stay, let's make sure he doesn't wait until the next time they play Minnesota to have another game like this.
Order has been restored.
Are you guys watching the ESPN broadcast?
or dealt for Andrew Wiggins
lol nice fastbreak Tatum. Although Rozier passed way too soon.
Jaylen's playmaking keeps improving
GH is 13-16 in FGs, with those three misses in the first quarter.
Jaylen just pantsed Gibson.
Yeah, Rozier wanted the ball back. lol
He's the PG, drive and let Tatum flush.
Doris good point on Jaylen's shooting form- it's not consistent.
It's funny, but it also slightly reflects the fact that Tatum plays good D. Hayward was in for a lot of that shitty 3rd quarter defensive effort.
Hayward should be traded for Tyus Jones
Much better defense this quarter, sans the two tolliver garbage time 3's.
36 for GH!
Horford and Tatum really make a difference.
Think they were discussing Lonzo in that conversation but I was only half listening
14-18 holy shit my man.
Anyone else watching on Comcast 852 have ridiculously poor picture quality? The wide shots look like something out of NBA Jam, circa 1993.
Hesitant Hayward is so last year.
Whoever said 117-102..,well done
It's HRB's world, and we're all just living in it.
That was fucking awesome. I just hope it doesn’t take another month for Hayward to go off.
Ha. On ESPN they were interviewing Gordon and he goes "I need to credit my teammates, they got me..." and right as he said "got me" he got water dumped all over him.
Last time he went off was a month ago, let’s see if he can actually show some bit of consistency, because he’s been pretty bad since the last big game.
Second time! You can tell these guys are really pulling for him. Nice to see it's not all bad blood over who is getting minutes or shots.
or 5 pages ago
I’m guessing it also looks like they’re playing against Chuck Person and Christian Laettner because 852 is actually the 1993 NBA Jam channel.
Doris might be the only NBA TV analyst that watches games she doesn't cover.
That might be the best game that Towns and Wiggins have played at the same time all season, and the C's buried them anyway. Good stuff.
She's very good.
Doris is great. Would be nice if she was paired with someone else that cared.
Without Breen and Jackson and with Doris Burke, it was a much better experience.
I don't act like anything. I agree he has looked rough. Not sending him to the G League rough though. And maybe the royal "we" ought to have more measured expectations about a guy who is still fighting back from a horrific injury. I am sorry my jokey post offended you. We should have each other on ignore. I have no interest in fighting with you. And you called me the worst so you should pink me.
It's so awful she is below Van Gundy, Mark Jackson, and Hubie Brown on the ESPN hierarchy.
ESPN talking heads (Billups, Rose, Beadle) insinuating that the Celtics play better without Irving.
Agreed. She is the best color analyst for the ESPN NBA crew.
