Rumor is if the B's win, Therrien gets fired. Let's push them out of a playoff spot!

Maybe fire Bergevin too? Pretty please?

I ache for the days of Pierre Gauthier and Randy Cunneyworth

About to spend the next 4 hours in some sort of team-building meeting. Should have brought some booze to play an office buzzword drinking game.

No Krejci, but Pastrnak is a possibility.

He'll never do it, but I'd sit Seidenberg tonight. Get a tad bit more mobile on the blue line. They haven't been able to handle the Habs speed all year.

33 - 62
45 - 48
47 - 86

The Canadiens must have so much confidence in their roster if they're keeping NHL All-Star John Scott in the AHL. Of course everything that's going wrong with the Canadiens is entirely and completely Therrien's fault.

It's written in secret code. Only those outside of Ohio can see it.

On the real tip, it seems like the twitter post thingy isn't working. Here's what I was trying to post:

Dominic Tiano‏@dominictiano
Report circulating that say if the #Bruins beat the Habs tonight, Michel Therrien will get the axe, giving them 3 days to prep for next game

I don't think Therrien is a great coach by any means, but he shouldn't be scapegoated for this mess. They have vastly improved their underlying numbers and have essentially been an elite 5x5 team all year. 5th CF% this year, last year they were 23rd. They've improved and with very little personal movement.

It's not Therrien's fault Bergevin ignored the backup goalie position. Save percentages for guys not named Price- Condon, .908, Scrivens .882, Tokarski .878. There's your problem. Those 3 have played 39 games for the Habs. League average save percentage is like .915 and they're running these guys out there night after night.

That said, win tonight and make them fire his ass.

Is Morrow playing right defense? If so....what the fuck has taken so long to get him in there?

Well, shit, I was gonna bid on a Bergy jersey for Denna Laing, but $3,600 before the game starts is a bit steep for my bank account.

I hear ya. Who knows. It's the Kevan Miller conundrum. Claude/someone thinks he's some sort of key cog in the penalty kill so they refuse to take him out of the lineup.

Fucking Bell Centre. That opening minute really wasn't a big deal, couple shots from the perimeter, a good save, and a deflected shot.

Yet it felt like playoff overtime with the crowd there. They're impressive I gotta say.

Hasn't that been the case for about three years now? I know they don't have a lot of top-4 calibre defensemen, but surely Morrow or another forward could do better, right?
He's OK in front of the net, but he absolutely can't be a point man anymore. He can't go back, retrieve the puck, then lug it through the neutral zone and establish possession in the offensive end anymore. Trotman is fine as the right shot guy to do it until Krejci returns. Colin Miller is ideal, but, well, sigh.

Yep. If they're not going to put Chara in front of the net just sit him down and manage his ice time. I'd be okay with that.
