ahhh crap, can't use that one tonight
One action and a shot. Where is the ball movement?
Back to the thing from earlier in the year: missed some shots, so stopped executing on both ends. Frustrating as hell.
Is this game officially over with 9+ minutes in the second quarter? Asking for a friend.
They’ll probably win but you can’t tell me that their wildly inconsistent play doesn’t bug you.
Someone check the rim.
Maybe they have some sort of ethical objection to a number of free throw makes in a game.
Gordon has the worst rim luck this year of anybody I've ever seen.
I agree watching them is frustrating at times but this is the NBA. Even the dregs of the league make runs. Orlando isn't a horrible squad - they can be competitive some nights. I cannot recall a team that consistently wins wire-to-wire, even against an inferior team. And I watch entirely too much NBA.
Na, they just have to start deciding to be mentally tough and go back to what they do well when they have these bad runs. That was a good stretch there to up the energy on both ends.
Holy shit, the Thunder are going to retire their first number ever.
And it's going to be Nick Collison.
I don't post much round these parts anymore but cant you criticize how they are playing without the implication being that a stretch of bad play is somehow unusual for an NBA team?
I think it's more that everyone totally freaks out whenever a) energy slips for 5 minutes b) a few shots don't go in
Marcus Smart - the answer to any shooting slump.
I get annoyed when the ball starts sticking. Been better the last 5 minutes.
People can and should post whatever they want. But proclaiming this a loss early in the second quarter is strange. As everyone knows, the NBA is unique in that teams make runs regularly.
One trip down, Brown receiver a pass, quick pass to Tatum, quick pass back to Brown, open 3, make.
Next trip down, Brown receives a pass, quick pass to Rozier, Rozier dribbles around for 10 seconds, possession goes to shit.
Orlando is a brutal brutal example of horrendous DJing and sound effects ruining sports. I’m legitimately distracted now that I’ve noticed it
Just a fucking assault on the ears
Everyone chill, we got this.
Started on the defensive end. Great work.
Who proclaimed it a loss?
And here's a good stretch.
Brown from downtown.
I think it helps that there's no one in the stadium. How often can you hear the players on the floor like you can here?
Nobody’s worse than Detroit.
I'm in the minority in this regard, but I genuinely enjoy watching them have to work it out and respond to adversity.
Also I'm good saying that Jaylen is back.
I still have flashbacks to when the Celtics played them in the playoffs during the Big 3 era. “THREEEEEEEEEE....Hedo Turk-o-gluuu...pinball sound effect”...ugh.
DEE troit BAAASKET ball
Jaylen nailing 3s and finishing in transition is always a good sign.
He's been his normal self for almost 2 months now.
Perhaps it would be louder if the fans just did what the DJ said to do
Mook Morris is so getting paid this offseason.
And I think the Lakers are going to be the team to sign Morris too.
Was so nice to see the ball end up in Morris' hands with the clock going down. That used to be the exclusive domain of the Marcus Smart brick.
Steve Clifford really does get his teams to play D; I'm impressed with Orlando
What the hell was that shot from mook
Kyrie with the skyhook. Whoa!
I Kyreamed my pants
That skyhook or whatever it was - my goodness.
Kyrie is a magician.
If 2016 Kyrie Irving saw clips of himself on D now, he'd think they were doctored. He's getting to Smart-like levels of moving his feet 1-on-1
It was sick. I mean, we take his stuff for granted but the guy is just a magician.
Left handed like it was nuthin
This legitimately made me laugh. And I did have to double check that it was true.
Would like to see not bad Hayward again though.
Jaylen's "new normal" as opposed to Jaylen 2017-18 edition?
Imo it's better for them to have a bad stretch, gut it out, and start playing the right way than it would be to have another beatdown of a shitty team.
The last month has been playoff Jaylen, and the prior month was moving towards that trajectory.
At the game. Feels like a 50/50 crowd here. Thinking of volunteering to take free throws for them tonight.
Also, please attack the rim.
