    Great stuff. I guessed correctly knowing about Ted's situation, and just made good guesses on Yaz and Ortiz. I saw Yaz play at Old Comiskey in '83 as part of his farewell tour when I was 11 years old. I remember the White Sox fans giving him a nice ovation in his final game.

    The White Sox have no urgent need to rid themselves of Robertson's contract. Relatively, their payroll is manageable. They do however have Nate Jones ready to take over as closer, so for that reason Robertson is possibly expendable.

    Ortiz to me falls into Jim Thome territory. Thome cracked 500 HRS with a few years to spare, but was primarily a DH and just didn't do a lot more than hit mammoth HRs.

    Felt the same way in Chicago after the 2005 season when the Sox let the local radio station not negotiate a fair deal with John Rooney, who promptly took his ball and left town to head to St. Louis. That radio station subsequently threw the Sox under the bus and now carries the Cubs.

    This is intriguing. The Sox are in desperate need of a catcher, as Tyler Flowers has been a bust. SP is their strength. Quintana is probably their best piece to trade right now.

    I'm comparing this to White Sox fans coveting Chris Sale and telling me I'm crazy to consider trading him for Betts and Bogaerts. Two different fanbases, two entirely polar-opposite opinions. Is the truth somewhere in the middle?
