    Given the front office's frugalness under Breslow I'm not concerned that they overpaid. I would be shocked if it is not team friendly given the amount of existing control the Sox had. This is what they should be doing since they have extra CBT space, hopefully Casas and Houck are next

    Generally the answer should be championships and the Red Sox have provided 4 since Henry took over which is better than any other team. The team has mostly been a disappointment since Mookie was traded but overall the championships have been more than could be expected given the prior team history

    But then why doesn't this collusion impact Ohtani, Yamamoto, Nola, Jung-hoo Lee, Hader, etc? It seems more likely that Boras misread the market and was asking for about $100M more for each player than the market thinks their worth.
