How do I cancel my subscription?

I am having the exact same issue as the poster above, even though I have already canceled my subscription. My profile does not show any active subscriptions, so I'm unsure why I am still getting charged. I've also sent a message through the "contact us" link at the bottom of the page, but...

    ESPN Is Pathetic

Fucking christ, it's just a figure of speech. If there's anything SoSH needs more of, it is definitely someone pedantically parsing language for absolutely no reason whatsoever. We certainly don't have enough of those.

    ESPN Is Pathetic

The guy is yelling and screaming, "it's old news, it's old news, move on," while the hosts of the program try to politely remind him that he, in fact, agreed to discuss this topic with them. Then he hangs up on them and ends the call. He's pretty clearly having himself a bit of a meltdown.

If by "offer an apology" you mean "delete his twitter, turn his instagram private, and generally run and hide from the internet," then yes, that is exactly what Jeff Garcia did. I enjoyed former Pats beat writer Shalise Manza Young unloading on him: Jeff Garcia sure hid fast — unlike women in...

    Tom Brady retires

I'm just guessing, who knows until/unless he explicitly tells us. Makes a lot of sense to me that, as soon as he won a title after going somewhere else, he felt like he truly had nothing left to prove and couldn't rationalize continuing to prioritize himself and his football career over his...

    Tom Brady retires

Really makes it seem like winning a title without Belichick was the cherry on top that he was looking for. Can't really blame him, much as I truly thought he and Belichick would go out together as Pats. Going to be really weird in an NFL without Tom Brady. It's been a long time since such a...

Not sure what metrics you're referring to. I know he rates excellent by NY/A and ANY/A, that's for sure. From everything else I've seen he looks closer to middle of the pack, which seems about right. He also benefits a lot from YAC, fwiw.

I don't really want to belabor this but being a much better QB than Nick Mullens and C.J. Beathard is an incredibly low bar to clear for a guy being paid as if he's one of the 10 best QBs in the NFL. If that's where people are going to hang their hat in defense of Jimmy G, then go for it, I guess.

    ESPN Is Pathetic

I'm not sure that really proves anything. In the two seasons he's gotten injured and missed time (2018 and 2020), the Niners went 4-5 with Jimmy G as their starter. Better than his replacements, sure, but that probably says a lot more about his replacements than it says anything about him. Maybe...

    ESPN Is Pathetic

I'm not seeing how that undermines what Kimes is saying. The nature of the QB position makes him high-profile and an important person on the team, because the ball is going to be in his hands more than anyone. That's just how it goes with QBs. I get it, and I'm certain Kimes does too. But...

    ESPN Is Pathetic

When the argument for Jimmy G boils down to "QB winz baby" it's almost pointless to even bother with a rebuttal. Winning plays, like overthrowing a wide-open receiver with a chance to win the Super Bowl. So much winning. Clearly, Jimmy G is the main reason for the 49ers recent success, and not...

    ESPN Is Pathetic

It's a dumb criticism and a terrible argument to say: "they never played the game, ergo, they don't understand the game." That conclusion is wholly unearned and does not logically follow. Jimmy G's head coach Kyle Shanahan never played. Does that mean he doesn't understand football? Bill...

What Super Bowl matchup do you want & who are you rooting for?

Right there with you. I can understand rooting against KC and despising them. Mahomes is on another level. That dude is just insanely good.

What Super Bowl matchup do you want & who are you rooting for?

Rooting for Bengals-49ers. Think it will be KC-49ers. Maybe Rams, that one should be close. I just think the Niners kind of have them figured out. You don't win six straight against the same team by accident. At the very least, it feels like you have to give the coaching edge to Shanahan...

NFL Playoffs - Divisional Round game thread

Tennessee seems pretty boned because of Tannehill's contract. Over the Cap has his cap number jumping from $11.1 mil to $38.6 mil, all of it fully guaranteed. Even if they cut him post-June 1, that's all dead money. I think they're married to Tannehill for at least another year.

    NFL: News and transactions

I'm probably biased by some Buffalo fans I've befriended along the way, but they have a fatalism to their fandom which I can empathize with. It's not all that unlike Red Sox fans who remember what it was like pre-2004. The Bills fans I know fully expect their season to end the same way it always...

NFL Playoffs - Divisional Round game thread

Not real sure why you wouldn't include his rushing numbers. The Atlanta game is the only real turd in the bunch there, and he ran for 81 yards and 2 TDs that day. He's had four of his five highest rushing totals of the season during that stretch. Number five was when he ran for over 100 yards...

NFL Playoffs - Divisional Round game thread

I'm not certain about any of these games, but I think I feel best about Buffalo, honestly. Seems like Daboll has done a great job retooling their offense down the stretch, especially in the running game. They appear to be peaking at the right time, Allen is playing out of his mind, and their...
