    Let's Talk About MLBTV

I use this service on my Roku with no trouble. To stream our Red Sox, I use my Mac hooked to my 55" Sony 4K. I use hotspot shield app for my VPN and it works like a charm. No video issues at all. It's been great.

MLB debuting MLBPlus, a data-driven online broadcast during NYY/BOS series

Interesting stuff. But the talking heads sound like a couple of interns who had nothing to do tonight. And the camera angles do suck.

    Let's Talk About MLBTV

Used this app for years. Currently, I view games on my ROKU TV and via my MacMini. Works flawlessly...and I watch our Sox easily. So far, so good.

And watching "the old fashioned way" with my laptop and an IP spoofing program works perfectly. They're not smart enough to screw me! LOL

I believe you're right. Looks like jail breaking and a location spoofing app are in order.

I wonder, have they fixed the loophole on the iPad, allowing VPN usage? No dice on my iPad with my VPN.

Cutting The Cord on Cable/Satellite TV Service?

And VPN with NHL GAMECENTER is not going well. Anyone doing this? Help?

Cutting The Cord on Cable/Satellite TV Service?

Anyone here have any experience using the NHL streaming service using a VPN? I'm considering a purchase and was hoping it would work in a similar fashion to MLB.TV. I've watched the Sox for a couple of years now, using a VPN to make it look as though I'm in Britain.

Cutting The Cord on Cable/Satellite TV Service?

With a good VPN, the Sox stream nicely on my iPad. MLB.TV is the shit.

My Samsung BluRay stutters when playing via my VPN. The stuttering is minimized when not using my VPN. However, when viewing games via laptop connected to my TV, flawless...VPN or not. The picture is dramatically different this year, even when not bothering with the NextDef plugin. Money...

I ran it with my VPN and it looked awesome on my Samsung BluRay. The iPhone app was great, too. Very happy with the improvements so far.

I used the app for the first time Sunday, watching about an hour of the Sox. It was a SD broadcast, from what I was told, but came in just fine. No drops or stalls--on 3G Verizon. I'm eager to see HD on WiFi. But first, I need to subscribe to my VPN--still choosing which one I want. I think this...

Let me get this right; you have the MLB.tv Premium Sub? If so, the new app should ask you for your username and password. That will activate the rest of the features. If this is true, do not pay the $15...you don't have to.

I'm looking into another product to use with the service now that I have an iPhone and a Samsung BD-D5700 BluRay player with the app. http://www.unblock-us.com/?v=2 They claim the service will work on both the above devices, enabling me to watch the Sox. If it works, it'll be fantastic!

Cutting The Cord on Cable/Satellite TV Service?

HideMyIp does not work on my new Samsung WiFi DVD player, that's why. I believe I've found a service that will, though. Like I said, I'll let everyone know. However, if you're watching baseball on your computer and want to avoid the blackouts, HideMyIp comes highly recommended.

Cutting The Cord on Cable/Satellite TV Service?

So, I abandoned the idea of an iPad as I just picked up one of these babies. It's awesome. WiFi enabled, it streams HULU+ and Netflix flawlessly, and provides me access to Blockbuster online, MLB.tv, NHL and a couple other movie streaming sites. It's really a great machine. And I think I've...
