Congratulations to City, our league season ends not with a feeling of failure but one of immense pride in what we've achieved this year. Let's take a day or so to reflect on that, let the players have a short break then the work starts again as we focus on Madrid.
It's been a while...
I approach the next two hours more in hope than expectation but if things go our way, remind me to tell you a little story from earlier today... #allezallezallez #LFC
So we've now played every other team in the league (19) and Alisson has conceded 7 goals - the same number he conceded in two games against us in the CL semi for Roma last season.
For various unimportant reasons - some personal, some professional - I've not been around SoSH much in recent times but given what's going to be happening in Kviv in less than 24 hours time I thought it only appropriate I show my face.
Due to work this week I've managed to keep my brain...
I may be amongst the minority in my own circle of friends by being a baseball / Red Sox loving Brit but I really think that the attendance is more likely to be 80/20 UK/USA split rather than the other way around, no doubt helped by the teams involved.
Even Brits without any interest in baseball...
I only turned MLB.tv on to watch for a while after finishing work but can't turn it off now - HR number 7 just landed in right-centre field. 0 out in the 4th and 7 HR in the game, plus Travis Shaw hit one for the Brewers in the top of the inning. Has DC been elevated due to some seismic shift?
What with work and a serious knee injury, I've not been around much recently, but happy days today...
Talking of money, here's the payout for this season's TV money and JWH can raise a glass but just note that Bournemouth - with a stadium capacity of less than 12,000 - has just earned over £123M
No rest for the wicked - and particularly the Liverpool and Man City players who only finished their game 41 hours ago - so here we go with the start of the second half of the season. Just the 6 games today with interest at the top & bottom of the league.
Middlesbrough v Leicester City (12:30)...
The guys is having no luck at all...Danny Ings done for the season after picking up a knee injury in the EFL cup game vs Spurs last week. I don't know if it's good or bad that it's not the same knee as the one with the ACL injury last year but he must be devastated...
Wrong...that's not the best of starts...
Liverpool: Karius, Clyne, Matip, Lovren, Milner, Henderson, Can, Coutinho, Firmino, Mane, Sturridge
Man Utd: De Gea; Valencia, Bailly, Smalling, Blind; Herrera, Pogba, Fellaini; Rashford, Ibrahimovic, Young
This and the reverse fixture at OT are the two games that get me in a mess, which is why I don't bother watching them in a pub anymore as I tend to get a bit...vocal?
I don't have Sky at home so will probably try a stream shortly otherwise it's 5Live radio for me and wearing out the threads on...

I was thinking that about Pearson as well & nothing would surprise me about that nasty piece of work. I must give some thought as to who else could be implicated while I listen to the Leicester CL game...
What a bizarre 24 hours - reports are suggesting that Allardyce has tendered his resignation and that he and the FA are in the process of wording the press release.
How someone who coveted the job so publicly for so many years allow himself to be in this situation is nothing short of...
