Weird Facebook glitch

Recently when I go to Facebook I've been getting this message- "Welcome to Facebook. Get started by adding friends. You'll see their videos, photos and posts here." You can't access your newsfeed unless you send someone a friend request. It's acting like I'm just opening a 10 year old account...
