    Just heard on Colin Cowherd's show that Dave Roberts was essentially forced to sit his big leftie bats by the front office analysts for Games 1 and 2. It would be interesting to find out how much he protested this decision.

    I voted Sox in 7. I'm hoping to get tickets to game 4 and therefore would love it to be a sweep. But this Dodger team took the Astros to 7 games last year, and short of a Yu Darvish meltdown could have been WS champions.

    Chavez Ravine is/was a hassle to get to. 30-45 minutes to get into parking, over an hour to get out...which is why I understand when fans routinely leave in the 7th inning of CLOSE games. but uber/lyft have really changed the equation...

    I've been rooting for the Indians. I love Tito. Even if he was far from the perfect manager, the man exuded class and always looked after his team. Yeah, Lackey and Lester were our guys, too, but the chicken and beer thing and implications that they played a role in Tito "losing the clubhouse"...

    One other in the NBA. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar had a season-long farewell tour with gifts and ceremonies at each stop. IIRC.
