They had a timeout and AD didn't know it or something as he instantly inbounded it. They had to have had a timeout.
Joe correctly understands that, with the way challenge rules and ball advancement rules work, it's really really valuable to not burn timeouts to maybe stop a run.No. Joe would have.
Not as clutch as Steph Curry, who's been having 7am tee times all week at Pebble BeachMurray again, clutch. LA's gotta do a better job of contesting there.
Was it their 2nd challenge of the game that they won? You lose the timeout if it's your 2nd challenge, iirc. They had a timeout and AD didn't know it or something as he instantly inbounded it. They had to have had a timeout.
It was their second challenge.their challenge was successful..right?
Not many teams have 2 top-10 players though.Glad to see the end of the Lakers as always, but gotta hand it to Lebron for what he's doing at this age. Lot of JAGs on that team, and they fought the champs hard.
That's a huge shot, but it seems to be going unnoticed that Playoff Murray's average game in this series was like 9 for 24.playoff murray yall
But why?Was it their 2nd challenge of the game that they won? You lose the timeout if it's your 2nd challenge, iirc.
Ignoring logic and just based on lasting impressions I have, Murray is the most-Clutch player in the NBA by a big margin and noone else is close.I don't know exactly where he ranks overall, but there aren't five guys in the league I'd take over Murray for a last shot. What a killer.
This I do not know; it's odd to penalize teams for getting hosed twice by the refs. But why?
luka can be good, if you ignore the D side of the gameIgnoring logic and just based on lasting impressions I have, Murray is the most-Clutch player in the NBA by a big margin and noone else is close.
I'm not sure that the Lakers do either, but yes, he gets help from AD for sure. Still impressive to see LBJ throwing up 30/11/9 with 4 steals and 1 turnover on 11-21 at 100 years old.Not many teams have 2 top-10 players though.
Yup. Basically averaged a point / shot this series but hit the big shots so nobody will care. That's a huge shot, but it seems to be going unnoticed that Playoff Murray's average game in this series was like 9 for 24.
Definitely. Lot of beef to throw at Jokic and Gordon, and Ant should be able to put a lot of pressure on their defense.Denver is in for a tough series with Minnesota, that one is going to be really good.
True. But Luka's finishers seem to be mostly stepback 3's, whereas Murray's finishers are mostly circus shots (that should not be going in) so seems to be more memorable for me.luka can be good, if you ignore the D side of the game
Oh I did not know that, thanks for the info.someone pointed out a bad hacimura close out on that murray three but that’s the technique they all teach now. above the break threes you try to close out from the side to take away the swing pass to the corner which is a higher pct shot.
looks to me like he took a couple steps on an angle to cut off the pass then had to shift over to get the close out. if he runs straight at murray he’s leaving mpj in the corner. not a coach but looks to me like he did a good job of what they are supposed to do thereOh I did not know that, thanks for the info.
But not sure if Hachimura executed that correctly since it just looked like him loosing balance on his own and not serve any purpose.
That's the absolutely scary part about facing that guy. He's a dominating force even with a "pedestrian" game.Jokic played a bad (strangely passive) game by his standards and still ended up with a 25-20-9 near triple double.
Like I said. Nuggets in 5!As the resident Nugget fan on this board, I do not fear the Lakers at all. The Nuggets are 8-0 against them in past calendar year, and for good reason. The Lakers simply don't match up well against the Nuggets.
Nuggets in 5.
Definitely. Lakers didn't scare me at all. The TWolves do.Denver is in for a tough series with Minnesota, that one is going to be really good.
Proof why he's the best player in the game. Even when he doesn't dominate, he still impacts everything and everyone else.Jokic played a bad (strangely passive) game by his standards and still ended up with a 25-20-9 near triple double.
No doubt. I realize they play different positions and have different games, but the quality of the late-clock shots Murray regularly get is so much higher than Tatum's last-second heaves.I don't know exactly where he ranks overall, but there aren't five guys in the league I'd take over Murray for a last shot. What a killer.
He couldn’t move his left arm after the collision with Porter.Davis had a monster first half but then in the second half-just nothing. How did he only have 11 FGAs in over 40 minutes? He had a great series overall but I'm not sure if its him not getting touches or not being aggressive or what--the LeBron/Davis pick and roll seemed unstoppable in the first half.
Imagine the last minute shots JT would get if he was playing PnR with Jokic. No doubt. I realize they play different positions and have different games, but the quality of the late-clock shots Murray regularly get is so much higher than Tatum's last-second heaves.
After the first game winner they asked him if he'd had one before and I think he said it'd been since high school in Canada. Now he's had 2 in a week.Ignoring logic and just based on lasting impressions I have, Murray is the most-Clutch player in the NBA by a big margin and noone else is close.
I doubt that. It was just a meh constructed team.Maybe all these Laker role players would play better if they were not constantly in trade rumors during the regular season.
The Nuggets average margin of victory was 1.8. That doesn't usually lead to a 4-1 series victory. I think they're in big trouble against the Wolves. Vegas probably says they're favored, but I think they're slight underdogs. That was a strange 4-1 series.
Couldn't have happened to a team more deserving of a kick in the nuts and a push out the door.
FTL
Yep if you lift the hood, the Nuggets are vulnerable. The Wolves have beef to disrupt Jokic and not sure who would draw Ant, maybe Porter. The Nuggets average margin of victory was 1.8. Edit: Yeah, the Nuggets are -230. If I was a gambling man, I'd pound Minnesota +195. Interestingly, The Heat are +10,000 to come back and beat the Celtics.. That also seems really weird. There isn't even a 1% chance the Heat can win 3 games in a row?
This right here. Feels good today.Happy LED
And draft BronnyThis right here. Feels good today.
Windy predicts LeBron will opt out of his contract to put pressure on LA to make improvements.
