That was beautiful. Reminded me of the Krejci to Horton connection in 2011 Game 7 vs Tampa.

Coyle makes the occasional odd play with the puck but he has been nails so far. All the goals he was just missing when he first got here are coming now.

Good to see everyone else’s first worry was about inside too. How fun!
It’s so dumb. Linesmen generally don’t miss the kind of offside that actually would create an advantage in a rush. So instead we’re policing ticky tack offsides that have nothing to do with the goal.

I did hear rumors!
Seriously the only reason why I didn’t take it as a joke was because those two idiots on 98.5 after Pastrnak messed up his thumb implying that he has a drinking problem. Which couldn’t be further from the truth. Wasn’t trying to be a dick to anyone here. I just didn’t like those jack asses slandering the kid when he’s done nothing but bust his ass since he got here.

Heinen’s night:

20-1 in attempts (95%!!)
8-1 in shots
8-0 in scoring chances
5-0 in high danger chances
1-0 in goals
95% expected goals for

Only 2 O zone starts. Monster night.

Also- last 8 Bruin goals: Nordstrom, Johansson, Kuraly, Coyle, Bergeron, Acciari, Coyle, Coyle

Real nice to get those contributions from the depth pieces. If they can just get the big guns rolling too...

Man, my comment was just from the eye test, but damn that is an impressive night.

I did not know that. But still, it's a pretty well-weathered game thread joke.

Excluding empty-netters it's the first time all year the B's have gone 6 goals in a row without any of their top 5 scorers (Pastrnak, Marchand, Bergeron, DeBrusk or Krejci) getting in the mix. (Bergeron's and Coyle's Game 7 goals were ENs)

Previous high was 5 with Cehlarik collecting the last 2 @ Phi on 1/16 (after Pasta opened the scoring) and Krug, Backes(!) and Wagner scoring the next night vs StL before Marchand added the game's 4th.

It feels like a Marchand hatty is coming at some point. He has been threatening a lot and either just missing or not quite having the puck fall right.
