The important point is that Denver is good and deep enough to be a factor in the West. Neither them nor Utah will be an easy out, assuming they stay healthy, when the playoffs roll around next spring.

They have the right coach to get the most out of them also as Doc did with Orlando nearly two decades ago. The Clips don't have a #1 guy on paper but have veteran shot makers and defensive scrappers everywhere you look.

Zach LaVine heading for his 3rd consecutive 30-point game on crazy efficiency. After 3 quarters tonight he has 90 points on just 51 FGA on the year.

Middleton going off in Milwaukee. 7-8 from deep, 30 points and 7 boards. Giannis has 31 points and 15 boards
I am genuinely afraid of that man. The Deer need to send Khris with a Khr to Phoenix or something far, far away. Unless DA wants to break the bank to sign him just so he can't play against us.

He looks great. Fluid and explosive. If Butler gets dealt, its clear the Bulls won that trade. As a side note, check out this move by Doncic:

I too love his game. On top of his skills, he is just a dogged competitor. The Bucks are deep and well coached. Barring injury, they will be there at the end with Toronto in the East.

For those Celtics fans feeling bad about dropping a home loss to the Magic, the Utah Jazz are about to lose to the Grizzlies at home. Meanwhile, even Grayson Allen has been decent tonight in his first NBA action with seven points in 10 minutes including one triple and a few hustle plays.

And down go the Blazers at home to the 'Zards in OT 125-124. John Wall missed two FTs with 6.6 seconds left but Lillard couldn't get his layup to go. Kieff led Washington with 28 points and 9 boards. These two teams are a good match-up for one another.

Lakers just overcame an 8 point deficit in less than a minute. Threes by Kuzma and LBJ to tie it.

Headed to OT. Really odd for a Pop-coached team not to see the foul there to avoid the three.

Holy shit. Josh Hart almost falls out of bounds, throws a hail mary to Lonzo who catches it also falling out of bounds and in one motion Ball passes to LeBron who gets a scoop shot and one. Insane sequence.

Then LeBron misses two FTs with the Lakers up one the next sequence. Pop calls a misdirection play, Mills hits a 15 footer and ballgame.

James Worthy opens the Lakers postgame show by saying their defense was pretty good tonight, we must have not watched the same game

Aldridge destroyed them inside and got to the line because they're soft as hell inside. He should conplain about something that makes sense

Jerome Robinson has yet to see the floor for the Clippers. I know it's a SSS and rookies rarely contribute early in the season, but as the 14th pick in the draft on a team that isn't exactly championship driven, wouldn't you expect a sprinkling of minutes for him each game (5-8)?

Too many vets in front of him and Doc as head coach. I doubt he sees much time until Bradley goes down with his annual injury.

I wish they would have taken a big gamble with the pick. They already had SGA, take a big swing.

The Clippers are a very deep team and I doubt you'd convince anyone in that locker room that they aren't a playoff contender. I've said this many times over the years mostly during our "tank or not tank years"...….when the players recognize that the coach is giving minutes to young players for "development" over winning games that is when you lose your team. No coach filled with a competitive veteran roster is going to risk losing him team from Day One when it isn't necessary and the big knock on Robinson all preseason was his lack of aggression. I say "isn't necessary" because over the course of 82 games there will surely be natural opportunity for Robinson to get minutes while forcing the player to earn them by working extra on the practice floor, in G-League, or in the film room.

Oh October-November Blake, so alluring, so tempting, the sky is the limit...

On one play Blake blocked a shot, collected the rebound, pushed the ball down court, crossed over Covington and then ran a perfect pick and roll with Drummond, leading to an easy dunk.

It will rightfully be overshadowed by the Sox, but Dallas heads to Atlanta tonight in the Doncic Bowl. Through three games:

Doncic: 18-6-4 and shooting 43/31/61.
Young: 23-3-8 and shooting 45/40/80.

Neither team appears to be focused on stops either so this one should be fun.

Pretty anti-climatic. Doncic goes for inefficient 21; Young goes for an inefficient 17 (although he got to the line a lot). Hawks win, both guys with some work to do.
