Van Gundy: "And don't tell me home court doesn't matter!"

Ummm who the heck is saying home court doesn't matter?

Am I wrong in thinking it was valuable to keep the game close to keep lebron on the court? 46 minutes... They pile up - but the dude is super human, and despite me being a certified hater, the man deserves a tip of the cap.

It all helps. We want him shooting jumpers late. He just nailed those 2 big ones. It’s why he’s Lebron.

He also tweaked his knee and was seen limping after the game. Didn’t show any ill effects in the 4th quarter, but injuries like that sometimes get worse the next day. Of course, as you say, he’s not human, so I expect him to be ready, but maybe the knee saps 2-10% of his normal effectiveness.

Meanwhile: haven’t heard any news on Love, but seems like there’s a decent chance he won’t be available at all.

Man, this every-day playoff game thing is freaking intense. Warriors (Iguodala still questionable) and Rockets (CP3 out) on the clock...

I was surprised they couldn’t take advantage of no Love in second half but I would totally expect they will tomorrow

Tough to scheme on the fly. I’m sure Stevens will be prepared for Love’s absence, if he’s out.

First time I have seen GSW intros,,pretty disappointing. Nothing comes close to the early 90s Bulls

I think Houston is a better team defensively without Paul. I also think there is something to the "Freedom" these other guys have on the offensive end without him. Guys like Gordon and Ariza don't have to think about "If I take this shot, I'm taking a chance away from Paul.." Gordon for one looks great right now.

That's the new rule this year. You have to give the shooter the ability to land. The W defender back into where Harden was landing. That's one I'm ok with being called. Harden usually doesn't get the benefit of the doubt from me though.

Yeah, that's find. The confusion was just because we couldn't see the feet until the final replay.

I'm telling you. These Rockets look completely different without Paul on the floor. It's like someone took a brick off their shoulders on the offensive end, and they know that there are no better options, so shoot away.
