Three things for the refs to keep in mind tonight.

1. Still owed a DOG for that atrocity they called against us.
2. Still owed an interference call for that uncalled one that sprang the empty netter
3. Toronto is not that disciplined of a team, and they should have 4-6 penalties in a normal game.

That is all.

I could not be more confident.

Actually, I could be more confident. I’m worried about bouncing pucks and ruts in the ice and somebody losing his edges and all the other hockey stuff that is pure luck.

How I would love to see the Bruins put this game beyond any luck the Leafs may have. Or for the Bruins to get the majority of the hockey luck tonight.

The Bruins have the talent, the heart and the will to win this. Yes they do.

I only watch NHL during the playoffs. Grew up watching 81 games a year from 1969 to about 1981. Just told my 7 year old daughter, a GAME 7 in the NHL Playoffs, is unlike any other sports experience, except maybe a game 7 in the Stanley Cup Finals. Cannot wait for this game. Nothing is as compelling in sports as this. Good luck to us all.

For the in the know die hards, are the Broons gonna win?

I'd just like to say whatever happens that this Bruins team is maybe my favorite ever and this year has been so enjoyable to watch. If the season ends tonight I'll be fairly devastated

I believe that tonight will be just like 2011 and 2013 - an early trial for a very good team before they go on a deep Cup run. Cassidy has impressed me since he took over the team, and I think he will have the remedy for the team's woes the past two games. And the team itself is the deepest and most talented Bs team I've seen.

I believe.

You realize how slow baseball can be when you're waiting for playoff hockey. The Slumbrew Flagraiser I'm drinking is helping.

How come they aren’t called the Maple Leaves?
What a good question. The Canadian Encyclopedia website provides the answer:

“By 1927, the St. Pats were at risk of being moved to Philadelphia. Fortunately, an investor named Conn Smythe came forward to purchase the team, and raised enough money to keep the team in Toronto. Conn Smythe's first tasks as new owner was a name change from the St. Patricks to the Toronto Maple Leafs – although his reasons for this change are not clear, the team may have been named in honour of a First World War fighting unit, the Maple Leaf Regiment.”

With that out of the way, let’s settle in to enjoy this Bruins victory.

I believe.

They’ve lost each time I’ve chosen NBC over NESN because of the picture quality. Tonight, I choose NESN. They will win.
