At that point just tell the players you aren't going to call anything before the period starts, so they know.

Should have had a power play, but the bruins always seem to struggle in OT. The other team always seems to skate circles around them and maintain possession for minutes on end. Even when the bruins win in OT it seems to be off a turnover and a breakaway or 2 on 1 but they never maintain much possession it seems.
Luckily 3 on 3 means jack shit in the playoffs and the bruins are fucking dominant at 5 on 5 hockey. I can’t wait for the playoffs already.

I know it's not his style (and he's undoubtedly right) but it would be really satisfying to hear Cassidy just go off on the OT non-calls.
Are there really people saying that? That’s crazy if so. They just almost beat one of the hottest teams in hockey without half of their team it feels like. Hard not to be impressed with this team right now. They are really, really, really good
Bonkers depth if everyone is healthy. Best-in-league top line, skill and toughness everywhere, enough team speed (and really there is so much movement in this offense that it doesn't matter), excellent special teams.
