Syracuse will have to somehow stop the total domination of the boards, and how would they do that?
Well, they were down 17-7 in rebounds halfway through the 1st half, and have managed to stay alive to this point, although, it might be catching up. Thing about this tournament though, is a couple deep 3's fall in a row, couple lucky bounces, and a team like Syracuse can pull one out.

I think some of offensive rebound disparity is due to some of this Michigan state shots are missed so badly bouncing out hard off back board or back of iron

I mean, these announcers haven't mentioned that it appeared to hit the MSU dude on the left knee.

It has nothing to do with him being hit with ball while OOB. I mean, it's close, and maybe not definitive but they haven't even said it.

It's amazing how lost they are. What are you looking at? The ball hits him and caroms the OTHER way.

That was disgraceful officiating
What's the point of an extended review if you're not going to use your eyes or obey the laws of physics?

I don't even care about this game, other than a MSU win helps me a lot in my pool. But that's stupid.

Really interesting watching Duke and Syracuse this weekend. Teams that have two days to prepare for zone seem completely lost. Just no idea what to do.

Wow, can't believe the ref 30 feet away called the jump ball, and the ref standing 5 feet away didn't blow the whistle.

This is going to be Michigan state ball. Wow though missing everything all of a sudden they won’t call any fouls on MSU. This announcers seem very pro sparty

What’s interesting about Syracuse is that they know they are not in great defensive rebounding position out of the zone so when they aren’t in position to rebound they play it conservatively and just focus on staying in good defensive position.

Michigan State with very few easy second chance opportunities despite playing this zone is the story of the game to me.

I think this is absolutely right. Michigan State has more offensive rebounds than they do second chance points, if I'm not mistaken, which is an amazing stat.

MSU has 29 offensive rebounds, and they've taken 24 more shots than Syracuse, and the only have 51 points. That's insanity.
