Khudobin was so fucking cocky in that shootout and I loved every second of it.

Khudobin stops 40 of 42 shots in regulation/OT and 9/10 attempts in the SO.

Figured Rask would get Friday's game no matter what, but Dooby's forcing them into a tough decision.

Joe McDonald noted today on BSJ that Rask is "unhappy" with the situation, but understands. I don't know how long Khudobin keeps this up, but hopefully the rest will do Tuukka good in the second half of the season.

Getting WAY ahead of myself, but if this team can find a way to stay healthy in the second half of the season and the spring, I'm not sure many teams are going to want to play them in a seven game series. The experience guys like Debrusk, Heinen and McAvoy (among others) are getting right now is really good for them, and, the third period aside tonight, they have played relatively well all things considered.

They've played the least games in the Eastern Conference and are 3 points out of the 8 seed. If you showed me a list of all the injuries they were going to have at this point before the season started, I would have been very happy for that.

Rask can be unhappy all he wants, but he hasn’t been as good. I don’t have any issue with them riding Dobby. If Rask wants to lock down the starting job, he should shutout the next team he starts against.

Just for the record - 1 point out of 3rd place in the division (with 2 games in hand) at Thanksgiving. For whatever that's worth.

Right, I hope I didn't come across as saying I think Rask should be back in because he is angry. I think Dobby has to be the guy for the short term until Rask can show he is back to being better.

If Khudobin keeps this up, though, the Bruins better hope McIntyre or Vladar are ready next year, because he is putting himself out of their price range.
