Agreed given some time to decompress, as the heat of the moment got the best of me, plus the fact it's the Yankees. To quote Bob Feller: "I would rather beat the Yankees regularly than pitch a no-hit game." Always counts for a bonus in my book with reaction, at times irrationally over the top, to a play.

I also think Houston has to go to the bullpen now, with the top of the order due up. Don't think these guys are dead for tonight yet.
I get you. That Chavez catch was one of the best home run robs in the history of the playofffs. The only reason why it's been relegated to the scrap heap of history is because the Mets lost that game. But that catch was just amazing.

Springer's was great but he didn't even really need to jump.

I think this is the right call. If history has shown us anything it's that going with a fresh arm over the tired ace is generally the right move. Verlander expended a lot of energy last inning.

If the Astros pen can't get 6 outs with a 3 run lead with their season on the line, they don't deserve to play in the World Series. Simple as that.

I don't even have to embellish this. Frankly, why? I guess you MAYBE think about playing the long game, keeping your non-Giles high lev guys fresh there for a would be Game 7? This is going to be ugly.

Bright side of this, assuming Houston holds on, how in the hell can Green be available tomorrow after that workload?
